Hi everyone HUGE warm welcome to my channel - thank you so much for tuning in!
My name is Ellie, I am 30 years old. I became a Mum for the first time in April 2017 and i am expecting my second baby in April 2021. About 10 months after my son was first born , I picked up my camera and started filming our little life. I love to do realistic vlogs showing what it's like to be a Mum, however i also love sitting down and filming videos where I can have a good chat about things I think are interesting and (hopefully) helpful. I also love cleaning , interior design, fashion....so you will find a lot of videos based around this as well.

How much of the portions you showed does baby eat. Mine eats a couple tsp and that’s it

Adorable baby! 2 questions though if you dont mind. Where is this full sleeved bib from and how do I feel more confident giving my 6 konth old finger food as I fear she might choke on it
Hiya ! The bib is from ikea I think. And confidence just comes with time ! As it’s my second baby I felt a little more confident this time round , just do you research and take little steps that you feel comfortable with 🙂 xx

How soon did you get to this point? I'm assuming this isn't how much you fed on the first day of weaning?
I think he was about 4-6 weeks into weaning by this point. I started when he was 5 months x
Bless him thats very good ,my 6 months old still drinking only 3 ounces per feed.i don't know how to increase it .
It will increase with time 🙂 x
Mine is 7 month and still take 3 ounces its been the same since she was 4 month
Hi Mama may I ask that does the food stuck on his neck after every feeding? We wear double bibs which are a full bibs like raincoat lol and silicone normal one. Again, around my baby neck after meal, the food (purée atm) stucks around his neck and on his jumpers neck and it is so annoying because I have to change his clothes at the end. We are feeding him breakfast and late lunch atm that means that we change him 2-3ish outfits a day 😂
Yes I remember that! He would always get milk in his neck rolls too! It stops eventually though xx

Can i boil the veggies instead of baking them?
Idk about this video how is that ok to give a 6 months old big chunks of vegetables. This isn’t safe and I hope new moms won’t try this.
It's completely safe if it's soft! They gum it down
It's completely safe, search for baby lef weaning. Babies have a super strong gag reflex, it will prevent them from choking. Not every food is appropriate, but big chunks of soft fruits, well cooked veggies and softer meats like eggs and salmon are all good options
@@skylergrey3507babies are different. My son is eating 3 time at 6 month my friend son who is 9 months just started eating because he just did not want to.
Hi i have a question do you make the pureeds or you buy them?
Its a great video but I have 2 questions: why not having a lunch instead of a bottle and is he really aleeping from 6.30 pm till 7 am in the morning? Usually , my baby would take 2 bottles within this time.
This video was a very long time ago but he would have been having a night feed during the night 🙂 x

This was about 18 months ago now…but I don’t think he would ever fully finish a meal, he still doesn’t now to be honest! But as long as he’s had a good amount I’m happy xxx
Well can’t feed hard food if not one teeth 🦷 is present so but!!!! Being a parent is different for each and eveysingle person so try what works for u !!!
My son didn't get first tooth until 14 months. His gums were so hard that he could eat anything
Yes you can. You can feed lots of food without needing teeth. I purée fed one baby and baby led another and my third I’m doing a mixture of the two because the baby led worked so well. It’s personal choice but you can’t say you can’t do it without teeth because it’s not true
They don't need teeth to be able to eat solids silly.
Humans chew with their molars which don’t come in until way later, babies mash food with their gums they don’t use teeth
The doctor told us today that even if they don’t have teeth they can still chew but to cut it up

My 6 month old is chunky but will only drink 60ml to 90ml . Makes me wonder if he is getting enough . He also isn't warming up to purees
my 6 month baby only has around 30oz and even then it's a battle, doesn't show obvious allergy symptoms, i guess some babies drink more than others? makes me nervous about weaning though, he also keeps his mouth shut for purees so i will try finger food. He is a very healthy weight though.
My baby is 6 months now. He won't even finish 3 ounce aptamil and max4 tob5 times a day😢.. Any advice to increase milk intake?

My baby has just reached 6 months, she takes 8 oz every about 3 hours ,but never all at once,.long as baby is a good weight for their age
Wow i feel like this baby is overfed! My 6 month old has bad reflux and has only 3 bottles of 6 ounce in 24 hrs n only one dinner at 7pm

Not over fed at all, your child is different to her child and it sounds like your 6 month old is under fed mate
The portions are indeed large for a 6 month old in my opinion. 36 oz of milk within 24 hours plus more foods? Wow. I was searching for a schedule as I have a 6 month old that I am starting off on solids but this is too much for her.
When he goes to sleep at 6 PM and she doesn’t wait till what time?

Its a actually the correct way to feed a 6m old. Should prob do a bit of research before pointing fingers at people.
Is this satire? Starting him off with processed foods everyday is a joke. I would like to know how much corn syrup is in that formula and porridge. At least you are giving him fruits and veggies throughout the day too, so a plus there

Oh wow, 9 oz to start the day at 6 month! And then a huge bowl of baby cereal AND finger foods.
He didn’t eat it all, I just made sure to offer it 🙂

I think he had one or two at this point, I can’t remember 100% 🙂

We started giving my baby water at 4 months because he pediatrician said it was okay. 4 ounces of water throughout the day though. Not all at once. Then 5 months 5 ounce, 6 months 6 ounces ETC.

Baby lead weaning some will take it some don’t mine hates it and I do both so he just had a finger food.
Not true my baby's doctor said with as big as she is (she's 6 months) she can start eating softer solid foods as long as they are able to moosh it doesn't have to be all puree that's not true

Tap water ? 🫣. I think these food are more so for 9 months + and up my baby is almost 6 months and she eats everything smashed 😅. I wouldn’t dare give her finger foods so small .
Babies are allowed tap water from 6 months in the UK 🙂
