- Here's what my 7 month old eats in a day! We do a mixture of Baby Led Weaning (BLW) and Stage 2 weaning, so here are some REALLY easy recipes for those quick meals when you forget to batch cook (like I did!!)

I've just started weaning my little girl who is 6 months next week! (if you could do a video on how to slow time down that would be great 😂) we've started with purees at the moment but I'm definitely wanting to do more baby led when she's 6 months because all she wants to do is touch the food and grab the spoon and feed herself so thanks for the inspo and keep it coming please! ❤️

Your baby is beautiful and he looks like mine 😍, it's incredible!!! I'm italian and my baby, Manuel Giosuè, of 7 months eats different food. For example, his first breakfast at 8:00 o' clock milk, the second one at 10:30 with fruits. For lunch at 12:00 o' clock with vegetables, semolino and proteins. The break in the afternoon at 16:00 p.m. with 2 biscuits yogurt and fruits. At the end the dinner at 20:00 p.m. is with vegetables, semolino or sabbiolina, italian cheese and extravirgin oil. He sleeps at 21:30 p.m. Thanks for your video.
How do I know when to give my baby a second meal in the day? She is currently only having one a day in the morning and she is 6 months 2 weeks now

So funny! My son is 7 months and puts his hands straight into the spoon too - I’m pretty sure he’s checking the thickness/consistency/temperature of what is on there before he will allow it in his mouth ❤

I’m the same in the morn but have to wait with breakfast as I do the school run and I feel he has adapted to it. So come 9-9:30 he has what he wants. If he refuses porridge I’ll give toast and fried egg… argh

See him eat the omelette makes me really want to give my baby that but I’m very scared he will choke how are you so sure he won’t just swallow it whole when was the first time you had him try that how did it go

How do u introduce egg?
While I understand that you want to keep your child on the table while eating pls make sure there is enough room between his chest and stomach and the table so that he can move freely while eating and does not feel congested. Sometimes babies can get agitated when made to sit in same position for too long and they may move any direction while eating and this may not be safe always, since babies are still learning to chew.
Is it just me or bottle babies are more calmer than breastfeeding babies?

Same here I only give me 6 almost 7 months old purées only because I’m so scared to give her anything she might choke with
Not all kids same mine still not ready for omelet don't push baby sometimes they can get chocked also

Just be patient, I’m sure it will come in time! If you’re worried then contact a healthcare professional ☺️ we use normal oats from Tesco xx

What age did you start weaning him?
I thought babies are not meant to have salt under the age of 1 year. Cheese is very salty. Would be grateful for your advice.

Meanwhile my little 7 month old girl eats three minutes at the breast and only takes some few spoons of puree 😅 hooow can he eat that much after chugging formula. I am impressed
This is not my routine at all, sometimes I’ll offer French toast, if he don’t want I’ll offer a bottle soon after and he has a nap. 😩 every child is different
Omg why am I so afraid of giving my son grainy food. I always puree every, im scared he'll choke, I gave my daughter oatmeal, I cooked it really well and she almost choked on it, since then I blend everything till they turn 11-12 months
Same! I'm soo scared of my 8 month daughter choking so I'm still giving her purees as well. I guess not every baby is meant for blw and that's fine. Do what you're comfortable with. Babies let you know when they're ready
I think many people confuse gagging and choking. Gagging is normal.
Why radiate and kill any nutrients in that small bowl of food? Very unhealthy start.

The day is very strange!!! Breakfast and lunch immediately after a big bottle?? No break in between? And then between 12.30 and 6 nothing? Very odd!!

I must say, that it is not quite baby led weaning. You seem to feed him a lot. You're supposed to put the spoon down and let him bring it to his mouth by himself .
