Hello, Sprayway and Everyone 👍
Thanks for tuning in Lloyd
I’d say most people don’t appreciate how much time and effort goes into things like that, it’s truly impressive. I know I’ve been learning some new tricks from watching you, thanks for the videos!
No doubt. Thanks
I've watched all of the dash videos and I still love seeing what Sprayway is gonna do. Always a great job. Detailed and turns out outstanding everytime.

Spray I have a question I want to paint my car a blue metallic, do you prefer base coat clear coat or single stage for beginners
Brother I wish I was just half as calm cool and Collective as you are I would be so overwhelmed with half the stuff you do your amazing
Thanks Richard
Truly impressed with the removable grilles. My only gripe with the other way of doing it. Either way, the work is impeccable. 💯
Thanks a lot man
Always making my weekend better
Thanks Jeff
Just got me to practice dashboard for my El Camino I'm about to attempt this a second time 😂😂😂😂 appreciate the insight and knowledge watching an learning keep it coming
Ok…you got it
I'm just now making some time to view this one. Top notch SprayWay. Looks brand new! 👍🏾
Thanks Greg
Out of curiosity, are you able to weigh a dash before and after fixing it? on the next dash repair you do. It'll be interesting to see how much it weighs afterwards.
Ok…sounds like a plan Ernesto
What price? On it
We appreciate you so much ,Sprayway... This is for the low-budget Chevy Guys!❤
You bet! Thanks
beautiful work Sprayway
Thanks a lot 🤝
Sprayway, Beautiful results after an enormous amount of labor! I'm sure it will outlast the original by far! As usual excellent craftsmanship on every project you take on. Thanks for showing the way!
Thanks Wesley
This one really came out nice. I think the black bedliner was a good idea because it makes it easier to see that you are putting it on evenly than when you use the clear.
Thanks Tommy B
I never get tired of the dash videos. Nice!!
Thanks Chris
All seriousness you got it going on. Educating people. Thanks for all the knowledge. Stay blessed
Thanks Les
Love to see a pro at work
Thanks a lot
You like me when it comes to being smooth. If I feel off I call it a day. It may take a couple extra days but the results are better. Got to feel it.
That’s the truth
Wild! I was hoping that you would texture the finished product, and I was really impressed at how good the bedliner looks on there. I can't stand the look of real smooth dash pads. Its gotta have that textured look and feel.
Thanks man
Man you never cease to amaze! I've seen you do it before but you make it look so effortless! Again a true master at work!
Much appreciated

Just amazing, lot of work, but looks great. I just wonder if you can change enough to make it profitable. Most people don't realize how much work is involved in something like that.

Yes sir I see ya them dog gone stand didn't get along with you and it turned out good thanks for the tips and how do you get the inter panels out o.b.s I broke some pieces they have some kind clips on them keep 💯
Lol…I know right. It just wouldn’t stay on the stands 😂😂
You make that look easy. I'm ready for my fail. How's it look after driving it
Good job with the dash
Thanks
I've thrown a many of can across the yard clotting up at the end.
It happens every time 😂😂
Spray way, the only way!
Appreciate you
Awesome work, I love your attention to detail. This is the second dash I've seen you turn into a work of art, quick question, before you apply the fleece, you do not fill in the cracks, is there a reason or is it not necessary?
It’s not necessary cause of the fleece and fiberglass
Boi you is FYE🔥☄️🔥☄️😂😂
Thanks man
Have you ever tried the spray-on poly filler like FeatherFill? I wonder if that would be worth a step after you sand your rondo? Great stuff as always. Thanks for posting.
I haven’t
Looks good, have you ever placed a string of color changing lights in a dash board? I think that would look nice
I haven’t yet
@@SprayWayCustoms I think that would look neat. So are you going too come out with auto accessories and paints?
Nice 👍🏾
Thanks
Nice
Man that is a lot of work and detail that has to cost a pretty penny for you to do that on a dash panel. Wow
I’m now to your channel. Is the purpose of the fleece to just span over the cracks and give a fiberglass a good base to set on and smooth out any inconsistencies? Top notch work.
That’s correct
I need to send my dash and a pillars for the sprayway touch !!
Yes indeed. Thanks fam
@@SprayWayCustoms let me know anytime
thanks for sharing
what is the glue, and what you spray ?
It was CA glue…it’s two part, the glue and the hardener. I sprayed the hardener
I have an '86 regal I'm bout to hook that thang up 🙏🏾💪🏿
Ok…sounds good man
Damn nice!!
Thanks
Hey sir after putting the fleece up and letting it harden.. and you find an air bubble where it raised up.. how do do you deal.with that? Cut it out and use some bondo? Or lay up some more fleece? Your the best!
Cut it open and wipe it with fiberglass filler
@@SprayWayCustoms I also have a question about adding a wide body kit to a firebird ... a guy came and used an adhesive and drilled the part onto the side and used bondo to blend.. but not its pulled away.. and I screwed?
Nice work . What bout the new cars when the bumper get broke on the end where it’s screwed into the fender what’s best way to fix it without how to buy another bumper?
Get some plastic epoxy
Hot amazing job keep up the good work.
Thanks Angel
Salute to you
Thanks
Great job again bro I have a question what kind of spray can products are you using and glue are you using and where are getting the fleece from thank you
I get the fleece from Walmart in the fabric department. The glue is WOW CA glue Amazon
@@SprayWayCustoms thank you
looking A1
Thanks 🙏🏾
what grit did you wet sand the primer with?
320
Work is top notch!!! Out of curiosity, what would you charge to do a black 1978 Malibu dash just like this one?
Thanks man..at the moment I’m not a accepting any fiberglass work
@@SprayWayCustoms I understand. What I meant was, what is the going rate for a dash restoration of this quality? I may look for someone in the near future to do mine in the Detroit area.
Very Nice and informative.. Thanks for the Share.. ❤
My pleasure 😊

💯
Thanks for the big support and kind words 🤝
Well SprayWay now I know why my resin took 4 days to dry on my obs wiper cowl project :( 12 drops into the resin filled to first number 1 on a paint cup really was not near enough wouldn't ya say LOL GEEEZZZZ so you you preferer the sem adhesion promoter over the bully brand? could I use the Brush on Bondo on my wiper cowl project after the bondo glass has been sanded smooth? do you have a video of you doing an OBS dashboard this way? doing my obs project with a cracked dash HINT HINT?
Yes you can brush it on with no problem. You can use any adhesion promoter. I’ve done that before not putting enough drops in 😂
Be cause of the videos you posted years ago is what got me repairing the dash in my old school 75" Delta88. Thanks your a great teacher bro.
Those are facts he is a great teacher seriously man he explains himself he explains how he does it and why that's how you teach people that want to learn knowing why things are done is half the battle to being successful at doing something
I used to look at all these different videos and all these different people doing things their own way but I found that the way spray explains things and does it is geared towards the people that are trying to do things themselves on a budget and still get impeccable results can't get no better than that man!!!!
Thanks man…it’s always good to hear that
I like the CA glue technique compared to the staples.
Can I ask you to what’s the code for the gray paint and matte clear?
I’ll have to check the color code but the flat clear is ALLKANDY
Thank you brother!
What your price on your custom dash work
Da man!!!
Appreciate you fam
