Clear truck bed liner spray one coat, let it dry then paint will give you a great texture for the dash also

maybe use fiberglass resin to bond everything back together and fill in cracks then bondo it
A balled up cheesecloth would give a good texture effect too

The flat black would be best for reducing sunlight reflection. Or even adding that fake alcanterra. That would be dope in my opinion.

LMC trucks make a dash cover for s10/blazer and does the exact same Job that you did with the aluminum sheet, but with the oem shape and finish for like $150 bucks or something like that, i think is a Nice and cheap solution

Yo next time try Fusor 143 to glue dashes/plastic things together. My last job we did it with school bus plastic parts that would vibrate themselves apart and it out lasted the busses.

I would recommend if you decide to redo the dash use the speaker grill screw holes as your attachment points and then use some type of caulk adhesive and “glue” it on the rest of the way
Superglue and baking soda fixed my EF glovebox hinge. That would work around the column. Maybe carve and drip some zip tie plastic with a butane torch. Plastic welding is a fun skill.

Check every junk yard to see if you get lucky and see if you can get dashboard in decent condition

They use to sell a fiberglass dash for s-10 back then I don’t know if they still sell it. Street outlaws daddy Dave old s10 he dove had one in it the silver n black truck

I would try two part plastic apoxy It's still sandable and strong and easy to repair

Using cheap-ass spray foam mimics the under padding then doing it extra thin layer maybe 1/8 in thick of Bondo could give you better results may be using the crappiest dashboard as practice

Why not just wrap the alu in textured vinyl, it'd blend in much better with the rest of the dash.
And they feel it up with them then they fibreglass it
