However it was outclassed by G-Max Lapras
But with Dynamax gone it can again be a good alternative for Alolan Ninetales and Abomasnow
@@marcelosandoval8719 alright however alolan ninetails still had more benefits because it can technically set up both screens easily
@@levievil9220 Yeah it was a niche pick but one with actual offerings and not just a worst alolan ninetales
After all Sure Moonblast is really strong
But you don’t want to spam Moomblast with an 81 special Attack
And The best Dragons in the format, Dragonite, Garchomp and Salamence are x4 times weak to ice
So if you want to hit them you probably want to use Ice instead of fairy
The stronger Freeze dry is also a nice addition to deal with bulkier Gastrodons and Mega Swamperts
I can't believe you didn't include wind rider Shiftry in this list.
"Your favorite Pokemon sucks"
Zoroark. That's it, that's the post.
Zoroak still the goated at flabbergasted newbies.
@@Orlandon457 True, but team preview kinda ruins the surprise

The Joker *looking at his Loupunny* - “MOXIE, THERES NO RULES AGAINST THE POKEMON, MOXIE! I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT WITH IT!”
My favorite pokemon sucks?? *cries in Lilligant Unova form
Lilligant is actually pretty good, primarily due to its niche when paired with Torcoal.
Torcoals sun activates Lilligants Chlorophyll, which makes it faster than almost everything. This allows for fast Sleep Powders
And the most evil, After You. A move that when used on your partner pokemon, allows them to move next regardless of speed. So when used on Torcoal, it allows for full power Eruptions that would normally move last thanks to how slow Torcoal is.
Zamezenta should get stamina as a hidden ability and Zacian should get Sharpness as HA.
It would be interesting to see the counterpart to this video: Why some Pokemon DIDN'T become viable, even when they got similar buffs to other mons. Like your example of Shiftry.
Empoleon got an ability change that really helped it competitive viability. It gets Competitive now as its hidden ability and I think that helps it alot.
I wish Game Freak though would help some other weaker Pokemon with buffs. Meganium is at the top of my list to receive any sort of buff!
Blud didn't wanna talk bout pre intimidate incineror

“Your favourite Pokémon sucks.”
Me, looking at Glameow: “…yeah, it does, doesn’t it?”
LMFAOO is that Guts on the thumbnail 😭😭
"I think Shiftry is mid" I mean that's the point, before the buff it was really bad like unusable, now at least it can get a +1 attack from tailwind that can set up himself, that's more than nothing
The fossil fighters cleaning theme in the beginning hit me hard with nostalgia, I miss that game
I forgot that Marcos did a False Swipe Gaming video

"Your favorite pokemon sucks"
You may be right, but it will not stop me from trying to make mantine rain work whenever it's in the game
Finally, someone who appreciates Fossil Fighters. That fossil cleaning theme is unmistakable
Him: your favorite pokemon sucks. Ma and my Incineroar: don't lie
Vid appeared just in time to make sure I’m not sleeping tonight I guess
How tf did he guess my favorite pokemon was haxorus

Dear pokemon give castform a weather setter ability based on the item it’s holding
Zamazenta having Guts iconic battle faces is something I would've nwver guessed I needed.
"Your favourite Pokemon sucks."
Hits harder for me as my favourite is Weavile, why run it when Chein Pao does everything it does but better in every way. So my favourite is literally indeed obsolete.
You get knock off :)
Gee, I wonder what could be contributing to that, huh. Could it possibly that the ability slot is wasted by PRESSURE. It truly is the placeholder ability of early pokemon games.
@@soapy5613 Which has done absolutely nothing in regards to VGC. You're still better off running Chein Pao.
@@sintheemptyone8108 I really wish they'd give it an actually usable ability, but they haven't and it sucks.

IDK, imma watch Feraligatr Dragon Dance again.
“I have always been sort of a gallade hater” and I took that personally
I knew i had to subscribe when i saw berserk refrence at thumbnail.
See it might not help in VGC but as someone who plays pokemon DND I’m really happy my favorite pokemon Sceptile got Shed Tail. It’s literally just Naruto’s substitution Jutsu.
Shell smash kingler needs to happen.
Shiftry has the problem as so many gen 3 pokemon. Its stats are scuffed af, from debuting pre physical/special split.
80 Spe is pretty mediocre (if not bad nowadays, thanks to speed creep) but a certain other Gen 3 mixed-attacking Grass/Dark pokémon has it worse
Incineroar before and after it got intimidate
I like to use a Tera Water Shiny Gallade with Sharpness and the crit boosting item idk what it’s called. Its moves are Sacred Sword, Psycho Cut, Night Slash, and Aqua Cutter. I’m pretty proud of this build and it has gotten me some success recently
Fossil Fighters Music, that’s why you my goat 💪🏿
I know
“Is she stronger than you, Zamazenta?”
“Hmm, good question. If Zacian were to be Un-nerfed, it might cause me a little trouble”
“But would you lose?”
“Nah, I’d Body Press”
empoleon’s ability changing from defiant to competitive really saved it ngl
Same with Regigigas.
“Sir, there’s a Pokémon that nullifies abilities on switch in”
Literally everyone once hearing this information: OH GOD HERE COMES REGIGIGAS
Technician + Bullet Punch Scizor
A classic game changing buff as old as time, and that’s just the big kicker
As someone who loves Zamazenta, I love that it finally got its time to shine
Now we just need to give Garchomp
D. Dance...please?
Latios is now actually seen sometimes in ladder and in tournaments thanks to the butt to Luster Purge... Or maybe just the environment shifting, but i want to believe Luster Purge did something
2:34 is EXACTLY how I feel about Luxray lol. Like, it’s so bad but almost everyone used one, but the people who STILL do, well… I feel like they’re still mentally stuck there.
Something something Gen 4/Harry Potter fans lol
“Your favorite pokemon sucks”
As a Meowscarada fan I accept that
“Your favourite Pokémon sucks”. I mean sure they do but Wooper being able to learn Ice Punch without having any arms is still an amazing feat in of itself.
