Not including Parental bond is crazy. This was THE ability that changed the trend “what if we gave an exclusive busted ability to a bad pokemon” to “what if we gave an exclusive busted ability to any pokemon”.
I'm guessing the main reason he didn't is that it literally doesn't exist anymore as it was exclusive to a pokemon form that is currently unobtainable and we don't even know if the return of megas will affect vgc or if every previous mega will return to begin with

Leaf guard is the one ability that I think should just be deleted due to it ruining potential good pokemon by doing practically nothing *cough cough meganium cough*

We need for Gen 10 to go back and fix so many of the power creep issues with old Pokémon. Not everything needs to be viable but a lot of them are downright awful (Onix’s stats are a joke)
Side note I Know it isn't in the game anymore, but the true Huge Power user is Mega Mawile With that 105 base attack, it could surpass even the hardest hitters in the game like Deoxys Attack or Mega Mewtwo X Not even an HP Fire Xerneas or Primal Groundon were safe when Mawile clicked Swords Dance
I like that Gen 8 not only marks a decline in quality in terms of content, but I guess Game Freak decided to enact Chaos Mode and simply give everything minmaxed stats and the most insane abilities. You know Raticate's ability lets it flee from wild battles? Meanwhile we have a fish with its head on backwards with an effective base 300 power move because I don't know.
Idk how good they would be in vgc but Fluffy/Fur Coat and Ice Scales are also really good abilities that are just on mid mons. In singles, Poison Heal and Magic Guard are def up there too. Good vid for sure.
With all the unhinged abilites Gamefreak has been releasing every new gen, I'm surprised that they still have not made the obvious ability that sets up Trick Room and/or Gravity when the Pokémon switches in. We've had the primal weather trio with improved versions of their own weathers that also negate their weaknesses, the Tapus that set up the special terrains, intrepid sword raising Zacian's already massive attack to ridiculous levels for absolutely free, and As One wich as you've said, is two excellent abilities just mashed together and given to an already busted legendary mon, but somehow, there is one person at the game balance team who is aware of how the game would be completely warped for the worse around those hypothetical abilities and fights their hardest to not let them happen.
if the terrain abilites make the list i'd say the weather ones deserve a spot too, with special shoutouts to the new weather and terrain ability which are just the old ones, but with additional upside

also abilities: if you go first, opposing Pokémon faints immediately
I feel like we're in the great age of power creep, can't escape it wherever I go
Love that thumbnail 😂

Abilities are becoming playing with your elementary school friends.
"I punch you no blocking no dodging"
The more these abilities do, the more I will sing the praises of my favorite abilities Moldbreaker, Terravolt, and Turboblaze. The latter two are on my favorite legendary pokemon, the BW Dragon trio. Plus they sound cool
4:42 the WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT when he mentions that neutralizing gas releases the beast known as regigigas
We need a special equivalent of Huge Power
Love how you acknowledge the fact that singles exist, and it easily makes your content better than another vgc UA-camr who we can probably all think of
I’m surprised he didn’t talk about the Box Legendaries’ abilities being improved versions of Groudon and Tapu Koko
a lot of older ice types get stuck with the same terrible ability’s ice body, snow cloak etc hopefully one day they get switch for something more suiting imagine slush rush mamoswine
I still don't understand why people freaked out about "Good as Gold" it's just a worse version of Magic Bounce
I think it's because of the combination of the ability + being on a steel/ghost tank
It blocks defog (used in singles) unlike magic bounce which would remove hazard either way.
I love these videos, especially the memes. Makes it more enjoyable than what it already is!!!
I think that zero to hero should have been covered with intimidate and regenerator because of just how popular arcanine, amoongus, and Palafin were together but great video regardless
Good as Gold : Exist and considered OP
Magic Bounce : "Am I a joke to you"
I'm suprised weather setting abilities were not mentioned. These are like the Tapu's Terrain before it existed (sort of). The things weather effects can do, especially when combined with Weather boosted abilities like Swift Swim is crazy in both doubles and singles alike
13:55 so we not acting like Scizor would’ve been NOTHING if it didn’t get Technician?
I like a lot of the broken abilities because they make the pokemon feel unique, but Good as Gold is just dumb
Honestly thought you’d mention zero to hero in the intimidate regenerator part due to Palance
Love this format! Your script is quite amusing ❤
Also the Religion of Araquanid will rise, I swear
I know many people have said it, but I believe it too, only a matter of time before they introduce an ability that just sets up Trick Room on a switch in.
3:02 ive been watching comp pokemon videos recently even though i havent kept up with anything in the new games since sun and moon. you cannot convince me that "raging bolt" is a real pokemon.
Urshifu being patrick on that episode on the thumbnail. Loved it
I'm surprised that there's still not a special version of Intimidate.
W Video W Humor W Mans. Please don’t stop making videos, you’re awesome 🤩
We need for Gen 10 to go back and fix so many of the power creep issues with old Pokémon. Not everything needs to be viable but a lot of them are downright awful (Onix’s stats are a joke)
Side note
I Know it isn't in the game anymore, but the true Huge Power user is Mega Mawile
With that 105 base attack, it could surpass even the hardest hitters in the game like Deoxys Attack or Mega Mewtwo X
Not even an HP Fire Xerneas or Primal Groundon were safe when Mawile clicked Swords Dance
When I saw the title I knew that it will make me regret playing competitively
Ayo your transitions in this video were pretty insane
2:11 its a beautiful day outside, glimora is leading, kingambit is sweeping, on days like this, threats like you, SHOULD BE SENT TO BL
Triage is amazing. Also the ates, like pixilate were so busted they got nerfed
How ridiculous has things gotten ohhhh pretty damn ridiculous
Stop cursing its a sin.....
