The Shincheonji Church of Jesus, often referred to as the Shincheonji cult group, originated in South Korea and is known for its unique and controversial religious practices and beliefs. Founded in 1984 by Lee Man-hee, Shincheonji presents itself as a Christian denomination but diverges significantly from mainstream Christian doctrine. Central to its teachings is the belief that Lee Man-hee is the second coming of Jesus Christ, sent to bring salvation by deciphering "the parables of the secret of the kingdom of heaven." This phrase encapsulates Shincheonji's focus on esoteric interpretations of biblical texts, suggesting that the true meaning of the scriptures has been veiled until now, only to be revealed to its followers. The group is also known for its secretive operations, aggressive recruitment strategies, and the controversy surrounding its role in the spread of COVID-19 in South Korea due to its members' reluctance to cooperate with health authorities.

Wow.. I just got out of it and only been in it six months.. This girl is spot on I just went through this, praise God for the blood of Jesus and I held on to Gods real teachings.. the moment I was called by the instructor he spoke to me about the one who overcomes is here and he’s from Korea.. after I hung up the zoom meeting. I blocked and deleted all of them.. and I praise God that I didn’t go through not even a year…

Don’t worry about your English just be blessed you left.. I was in Bible college, I left it because it was free and on zoom. Incredible here I am over 60+ years knew my Bible so I thought. I left my Spanish college as what got me was parables. It seemed interesting, but once you are deeper red flags come up. I decided to continue till the first test. By that time I was uncomfortable but decided to see as after the test it was were I was told who the overcomer was. And the name New heaven and new earth church. Mind you I didn’t know where to church about this. That’s why I continue but when I was told and not to look at all the lies because I was being prepared to know this one man, I had a name to look and boy o boy. I blocked every one. I was also wondering every one is so young and here I am the oldest of the group.. send lots of questions and after almost loosing my family and friends because of the amount of studying, you know how it goes. I praise God my pastor and the congregation were always praying for me.. Be bless 🙏
I went through the same thing just last month. I truly thank God for setting me free. Them telling me God was only in their church and no one else's didn't feel right. God's love isn't manipulative and full of lies. I pray those people in my study and many more get out
I stopped at “singing the new song” lesson. Did u guys also learn tht? I just couldn’t believe i fell for it. They r the ones that r rlly good at deception. They’re rlly mixing truth with lies. Praise to Lord God our Jesus for opening our eyes

Even more so on the subject of John the Baptist, it scares people into feelings like if they even doubt Man Hee Lee they are considered a betrayer. So in that way they strip the student of the freedom of discernment and testing the spirits.

These ones are also in Cape Town South Africa, and their brain washing. They almost got me but the red flags were bright red. Thank the Lord for good, biblical Churches and the Holy Spirit. They seem to be everywhere.
The ladies in Cape Town belong to "Queendom", so the lady who invited me to the info session of the Queendom was very secretive about which church she goes to and then at the meeting I asked where the facilitators gain the knowledge of the bible from - which institution? and the host said they completed the Equipped course, so I held on to that name and googled it at home and then boom it's connected to Schincheonji and I was like WHAT - I immediately blocked all of them 😂

I actually have been attending one of these bible studies. I just decided to leave (last week) because of the doctrine that denied the divinity of Christ. That was a HUGE theological difference i couldnt get on board with.

They never wanted to answer my questions....for example.... they kept stating that there were other people on earth before adam and eve. So, i kept asking.....well....who were they? Where did they come from??? No answer.....or that will be answered in later lessons. I still brought things right back to Jesus, and it seemed like that wasent what they wanted to hear. I also kept asking who they were affiliated with, and they only said....in time..
I finally found out and did my research in them. Also i personally asked three different Korean coworkers about them, and they told me to stay away from them. And that they are disrupting christian churches in korea.
I brought all this info back to my friend who introduced me, and she still to this day dosent believe me. Its so sad.....and we no longer speak. Ive tried to warn her over and over again, but she cant hear me. Please pray for her. Thank you again for this interview and testimony!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💕

I have found that people in SCJ are not interested in this but rather have fallen victim to the human tendency for over attributing patterns. The bible is a very complex book and I think Man Hee Lee oversimplifies it.
Like for example, his connection between Jeremiah 31:27 and Matthew 13 is rubbish. He is adding additional stuff to the text to make it fit.
The context of Jeremiah 31 is that God's chosen people were held captive by the gentiles. God promised that he will come to judge the enemies of God's people and then he will restore his nation. Jeremiah 31 used metaphorical language regarding architecture and agriculture to speak about this work of restoration that will be done by God. This is why it doesn't speak anything about the devil sowing seed in Jeremiah 31:27. The connection simply isn't there. SCJ adds to the text to make it seem to fit.

SCJ is in Ancient Chinese letters and it means (New Heaven And New Earth) Rev. 21:1-5.
And Temple of Tabernacle of Testimony In Rev.15:4-5 ( it's a promised temple where all believers in God like me and you are all given order to go and learn the word (testimony of God concerning Rev fulfillment. Refer to (Rev 15:4-5)
