A suggestion to this already delicious dessert, a little bit of vanilla extract or vanilla bean gel to the icing, to give it a more pronounced vanilla flavor, whoa!😋
Just in case anyone wants to know, Cinnabon frosting is a few spoonfuls of store bought cream cheese frosting mixed with a couple of pats of melted butter. You're welcome 😁
OMG!! Tried this for Christmas and it was DELICIOUS! You’ve created monsters in this house. lol thanks for the recipe. It makes these cinnamon rolls so much better!
@@terra2730I feel like I can guess on the brown sugar but I’d really like to know how much melted butter that is. And not sure about how much cream either.
These are the Trader Joe's organic cinnamon rolls! I just made these, and they're so good. This recipe just elevates them and makes them amazing! It looks like homemade cinnamon toast crunch.
I was wondering if they were from Trader Joe’s. Thank you for confirming this. The Grands cinnamon rolls only have 5 in each can, so one would need a second can to make this!
Quarter your cinnamon rolls place them in a greased 8x8. Take half a cup of heavy whipping cream, a teaspoon of cinnamon some vanilla, i use vanilla paste but extract worls fine, and about 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Mix together in a bowl and pour over cinnamon rolls. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes or until tops are golden brown and it doesn't look wet on top. You get this awesome gooey cinnamon caramel at the bottom and it it amazing. Make sure to drizzle the icing on at the end. For an extra treat, take a tablespoon of whipped cream cheese and mix it with your icing along with a teaspoon of vanilla.
This is a wonderful way to have those canned cinn rolls without all that awful dry crust that surrounds each one. I’ve always ate only the centers and threw away the dry outsides. This recipe makes exactly the gooeyness I dream of.
This is one of the more interesting hacks I've seen for uplifting canned cinnamon rolls and definitely looks like a great alternative to making totally from scratch cinnamon rolls. I gotta try it!👍
I always make my caramel and nuts along the bottom. Brown sugar, choice of nuts and buttermilk. Rolls in and let rise. Bake and turn upside down and turn pan over and caramel drips while taking out of pan, so great ❤ I suppose you can use same rolls used here. Yummy stuff
Oh yes, pecans with a caramel glaze on the bottom. Then ditch the store icing and just make a little more real icing…toss in a little of the caramel, some vanilla, and cream cheese and BAM…a way better version of Cinnabon (yes, Cinnabon USED to be the best, but they now have a weird chemical taste to the frosting).
I’ve watched this video like 20+ times, like I got an addiction to somebody’s addiction. 😂 So much for anybody planning on a New Year Resolution, cause y’all already know you’re making this multiple times. 😊
"The cuts" 😂😂. I really , really love this guy; his recipes, sense of humor, even his fire alarm Realmente me hace sentir muy orgulloso de ser mexicano 🩷🤎
That looks good. I have a suggestion. You know the glaze that you make to pour over the Bacardi Rum Cake. You could make a small amount of that and pour it over the cinnamon rolls before you add your icing. I think the buttery rum flavor of the glaze will be delightful. 😊
And bless the people that prepare...not just their hands lol. Sorry my daughters father and I used to laugh about this. So I just started praying the the person as a whole not just their hands. I know it's just a figure of speech. But once it was pointed out to me I couldn't shake it lol.
I would slam that so quickly you wouldn't even know you put it out. My one single issue is that a pee-can is another word for portapotty. Pe-con is what you put onto the rolls. Still love your cooking! ❤
Bro... snowed in in Illinois right now n just made this n is pretty awesome... didn't change a thing n it completely enhances the taste even rids the chemical after taste 😂... had no cream so used half n half... love the cream cheese add on... cuts down on the prepackaged cream cheese overly sweetness sugar taste. A+
This is how I make mine but I don’t use the cream cheese frosting. I use the drizzle that the sugar, heavy whipping cream, and butter makes while baking…so good!
I love your recipes. They're also simple, and I can see how you came up with them. Other people's recipes are way too complicated, and it makes following them a pain
Oh wow at 1st I thought it was like a cheesy , meaty lasagna & picked up my appetite but I love this dessert too🥺a man that can cook, bake , can make my tummy happy, is a 💯in my cook book👏🤗
I need the best dessert for a lactose intolerant person. I realize most friends I want to share desserts with are lactose intolerant and even their meds don't do enough, but so many awesome things want cream. So a great and simple pie or cobbler. I like cake, but it's not my first go to.
Well, I sent this to my mom and she made these immediately. Unfortunately for me, she sent pictures and detailed descriptions of what these taste like but we don't live together so I can't try them. According to her, they're amazing though!
As someone who loves cinnamon rolls, I had to make these. And I did, only using this UA-cam short. (Without the pecans) It was so good, & came out well! 10/10 definitely making again 😊
I’ve actually made this except with the canned biscuits instead and you have to mix the dough into the melted butter mixture. It was basically monkey bread. Your recipe is a really elevated version and looks soooo yummy!
I highly recommend making your own brown sugar. It takes literally just 1 or 2 minutes. I add a little more molasses than you get from store bought. It's crazy moist and flavourful! The caramel sauce for sticky buns gets this incredible hint of molasses on the end notes. I prefer using apple pie filling or mashed banana/brown sugar/butter/and cinammon for the roll's filling. Nothing addicts like sticky buns haha. ^^
I have to try that. That looks delicious. I love cinnamon rolls, I mean who doesn’t.
I don't like cinnamon and it's ironic because I live in the country with the world's best cinnamon.
made it an hour ago. super easy and way better than the basic cinnamon rolls.
me. I'd love the first two spoonfuls but after that I'd probably throw up. too sweet.
I want a cinnamon roll scented candle so my roommates wake up with false hopes

Then just eat cinnamon rolls. It's the same thing just with added steps
A layer of fresh cooked fried apples underneath that would be Christmas morning amazing 😻

This is seriously amazing recipe I would love to try. The only thing I’d add is apple bits to give the crunchy pecans a fruity accompaniment.
