Thanks for the great descriptive video, clearing up that theres nothing too tricky about working on these ! Just wish they had a dipstick to confirm the oil level is correct...
Did you make those wooden ramps yourself? good idea 👍🏻 what size bits of wood did you use? Good video, I have the M135i so will be the same with accessing sump drain plug, no shielding to remove? Will either get LL04 oil from opie oils or euro car parts. 😊
When your on your road trips, do you fit any form of protection for your radiator and oil coolers, like a mesh to stop damage. The mesh sits behind the grills and the lower part of the bumper opening. If so, where would you suggest I start looking. Keep up the videos my wife and I thoroughly enjoy them. Terry
Thanks Terry. I never had any mesh to protect the radiators as I though this was always a bigger problem with b58 than n55 cars but I might think about it as some of the radiators looks like they took a few nasty hits already. In terms of travel, I’m currently working on a video from a trip to Yorkshire Dales. That should be out in 3 weeks. So far I planned Scotland at the beginning of May and Nurburgring/ Alps/ Monaco trip in early June which will be probably my biggest trip ever over 7 day. I’m glad you enjoy watching the videos. Take care
No. As this service isn’t required by bmw I don’t care. You can update it. Have a look at channel called hunter Hofmann. He updated his m2 service log.

Next job on mine. I’ve done nearly 5k miles in 3 months
That’s plenty of miles in a quarter. With all trips Planed for this spring I will probably will match that!
Did you manage to update the service records on the car? I guess you require a key to do that.

Where did you get the filter housing removal tool from tia
Actually I got this one from bmw. I think it was about £15
Looking at an M135i, and... wow, that's such a convenient spot for the oil filter housing. Right on top, nothing in the way!
It is very convenient. Regards 👋
Why you hand are shaking every time you do something.
Did you had bad night 😂
Too much alcohol 🥃
No mate. Apparently it’s a condition.
