    I love your golden nails 😍 I also like how this ripple pattern creates a line where the decreases are! I’m part way through a blanket with ripples created from a decrease with 3 stitches together and it doesn’t have that same pretty line!

    Tried doing Tunisian crochet 2 years ago and failed. But in my defense I used, in my opinion, the world's most slippery yarn: caron simply soft (and also a metal tunisian hook).
    I have returned with better yarn to tunisian crochet and declare that yes, it is in fact very easy to learn and this very easy to follow. It is a little bit awkward to do left-handed but once I find my comfortable grip it will be smooth sailing for me.

    I need some help, I am trying this stich. I did a multiple of 16 x 25 which is a total of 400 tss. So I get foundation, go through the bumps on the back of the stitches, do the return, then start the pattern, when I get to the end I'm short 3 loops I have started over many times and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong

    I love this. How do you make a blanket with this pattern? Would I need to make separate strips and stitch them together? Also, since you do this professionally is there stretches or certain things that you do to ensure that you don't have issues with tight muscles or carpel tunnel issues?

    • @vickyhall1202
      @vickyhall1202 4 роки тому +1

      The stitch multiple is at the beginning. I would suggest starting with a small swatch. Follow her tutorial for the sample size. Measure how wide it is with the yarn you want to use for the blanket. Then divide the width of the blanket by the width of the sample. Multiply the number by the number of stitches. Now you have the number for the blanket. If you don't want to piece it together get a flexible or corded Tunisian crochet hook from Amazon in the size you need. If you think you might love Tunisian crochet then purchase a whole interchangeable set of Tunisian hooks. There's several companies that make them. Personally I have the Denise set that has 2 of each size of hook because I also do double ended Tunisian crochet. Best of luck with your blanket.

    I hate how you sped up the video on the last row. Super speed is antithetical to teaching. It would have been nice if you kept your hands as far out of the way as possible while slowly working that last row.
