Absolutely amazing trip! The preparation must of been a huge undertaking but well worth it. Type 2 fun - it’s hard while doing it but the memories after make it all worth while. I love seeing Tori and being able to relate to her soo much with the children - especially when Hudson tipped all the trail mix over and threw the stuff off the boat haha! And what a fantastic little man Wesley is, you can see his smile shine bright spending amazing time with his family. Very inspirational

What an adventure! I cannot even imagine taking on such a trip with two little ones that age. I did travel on vacations with mine when they were small and that was big enough of a challenge. Mine are grown now. Tori, you’re one badass woman to take such a trip on with the little ones. But better now when you can still carry Wes. Live in the moment and do all you can to make the memories. You’re one hard working mama. It does get easier with the kids in a couple more years. Toddlers are exhausting! I hope you have support at home. Impressive trip.

The whole time all I could think of is “omg what if that canoe tips…” you guys have so much stuff plus the kids… impressive to just go for it and be confident in your abilities.
Haha, right! Thanks about. One good thing about the weight in the canoe is that I makes it stable and the canoe is rated for that much weight and more….not the most leg room for old Jim though 😬. I’ve paddled the stikine before, many years ago and it has some tricky currents and waves in some areas but they can all be avoided. You have to have a lot of paddling experience in moving water though. Maybe we should have started in Glendora, below Telegraph creek where the road ends and we could have skipped the more “interesting” parts of the river
Just was thinking, parts of Ontario will be hit by the eclipse would be an adventure for you and your kids to find a river/lake or near the Nigeria Falls during the Eclipse? Life is an adventure!

It was a good canoeing trip from Canada to Alaska. I loved the excursion to see the glaciers. Huddy and Wesley had a good time, but I bet their parents are worn out! Ok Jim, one more time for old times sake……twinkle twinkle little star…………..how I wonder………….
