Hi Ken, I watched one of your videos yesterday, came back today to watch more of your work. I like the way you describe what you're doing. It all makes good sense. I’m a new subscriber. I just dented my fender avoiding city workers in the road but backing out of my driveway into their truck. After a 1k estimate, I’m determined to get this dent out on my own. New Subscriber! Wish you on the East Coast, I have a dent that none of my local places will work on, they'd rather cut out the whole rear quarter panel and weld in a replacement! In a few weeks once the weather's warm enough I'm going to give it a go, so studying your videos now.

New subscriber..Always been fascinated by PDR. Recently bought an old Chevy truck with 2 dents that could use some PDR. I’ll be undertaking the challenge, certainly can’t make it any worse. Worst case Im planing on a full paint job In about 2 years. Great work on your videos.

the guy i learned from drove 6 hours today to find me he has had his own pdr buisness now for 30 years.he walked through door today and i havent seen him in 5 years i was shocked he came to see how i was doing wow!and we where talking about things and he said one good guy i can think of is the man of steel!.instantly i knew he was talking about you!and we are over in the midwest where finding work can be tough no matter how good you are people just leave cars dirty and dont care unless its newer or a lease and a bigger hit

Yes you and I both know it’s better to bring it to PDR guy.. however most of my autobody repair subscribers do do a lot of push to paint at home in the garages.. it was great meeting you as well maybe we we can hang out more at the next MTE

I'm new to your channel. I want to fix my pickup truck. The truck was a fleet vehicle for an oil rig company. It has creased dents at the door and along the back of the right and left rear panels on both lower kicker panels. I don't want to start a PDR business, I just want to fix my truck so it looks nice. What tools would I need to buy, and how do I get inside the bottom of the door where there's no room? I own a 2014 Ford F150 with the extended cab (STX model). Can you show a repair in the kick panel area of the door?

If your able, I have a 2006 Honda Element and the driver’s side front fender and door always pop nearly every time I open and close the door. How do I adjust the fitment?

It really depends on what kind of steel that use on body panels. Bodywork guys trying so hard on my Volvo and they cannot pull it out. They eventually cut a little for pulling.

new here … Got a dent in the hood of my ford escape right on a creased body line … if I lift the hood how do I pry … strap the hood down while open with blocks of 2x4 …? Tough to get any leverage…

Can you put your finger directly on the dent if you can you can easily push it out.
The bigger problem is if you can’t put your finger on the dent and the dent is located behind the brace. Then you’ll need a really thin tool to get in between the brace and the skin to push it out

What you could do is pick up a free panel from your local auto body shop that has been trashed and you can practice with a Phillips screwdriver

Funny, I thought you said they were complimentary. I'm not sure how your free tips, Trump, my purchased tape, lmao.
Whats really funny is if you read my comment i used to use. "USE" that is past tense. i been doing dent for a very long time. I've been buying tips for a long time.. notice tips is plural. that means many. electrical tape is messy and last maybe 10 pushes and you have to apply more. waist more time cleaning your tool. Yes you can definitely thank me later.
Idc how long you have been repairing dented vehicles. I prefer a less physical approach to a living. My point was for those of us who aren't receiving "complimentary" tips, electrical tape, amongst others, is an alternative.
Affording "complimentary" tips, seems like an oxymoron...
