That's the thing I love about PDR, there is not always a tool that fits every job, you have to be creative and think outside the box and become a PDR engineer! Congrats on your 100K subscriber milestone and play button, it is well deserved! 👊
Jake my friend thank you for sharing on my channel. All the stars lined up that day for me. That scrap even had the matching holes. It was a fun repair. How are you? How’s business?
Subscribed today after binge-watching about a half dozen of your videos. Super satisfying to see the progression until that dent is MIA-Gone. I love how you're not making content for its own sake, but these are actually customers' cars and you're just giving us a look inside what it is you do for a living. A pleasure to watch a skilled craftsman in his element. 11 out of 10!
Only 3 videos in. The first two I was like this superman parody is a bit cringe but he does great work. 3rd video. I found myself "yeeaaaa" when he said "rips through steel." 😅😎
Man I'm from Brazil and have been watching your videos. I'm a PDR either and I admire and appreciates your creativity . For me PDR is An Unique Art and You are a Master of it. Thanks for teaching with your videos. We can learn a lot.
Awesome job 👌 Amazing results and no grinding, filler or painting necessary. It seems as though metal work is very different when the finish allows you to control the light reflection. Had this panel been bare metal. I think the advantage of the light is lost and the work is much harder. At least requiring very different techniques. Love your work. Well done
I think these videos or outstanding just like your work. 👍🏻 I understand that where your shop is you probably get the vast majority of people with cars, it would be nice to see a few more videos repairing fenders on pickup trucks if possible from time to time. Just recently discovered your channel and I really enjoy it. 😉
That was great fun to watch. I LOVE the different ways we can approach damage. Your way is better here I think. I would have used and a porta power but would not have had that control. 👍👍👍GREAT JOB👍👍👍
Mate I hope you are paid very well cos you are a VERY good pdr technician! If not get your ass over here to Australia and make some serious cash. Well done mate I love watching pdr work as a retired panel beater I’m always in awe at what you guys get out and you my friend are the best ! And thanks for sharing your knowledge mate. Cheers
The most impressive thing about this particular job is the fact that this car is from a time when cars had a little thicker metal. I do a lot of old muscle car restoration and that's something that I have always thought about...these new cars have such thin metal which is easier to manipulate. The old car metal is much thicker and stronger...is PDR really possible on the older cars?! The mustang here is thicker metal but not like the late 60's-early 70's. What's your opinion Kent?
Black is the hardest colour to get straight! But you did an amazing job there. I've got a few shallow dents in my car, your videos have given me some ideas for how to sort them out.
Im a new subscriber this is amazing how you can move and sculpt metal. I have a big dent on the hood of my suzuki samurai and was told i needed a new hood
MR steel mover love your videos two questions were can I buy the glue you use I use the one they sell at the dent store but your glue seems to have a harder hold and pull. Second question have you ever had a dent that you said I should have never taken the challenge were the metal stretched due to glue pull let me know if you have such video thanks. Keep on pulling
@@DentDiscountPDRBodyShop No I thank YOU for putting out these videos. I have a car that needs your expertise but I can't find a soul out here who's willing to do what YOU do. Eventually I'll try it myself but I don't have the kind of dent puller that you do and I'm afraid I'll stretch the metal and make it worse.
I really like that you put the body line in place first. I would have done this very similar, only probably with a come along anchored off my truck (because thats what I have) Too many kids follow this ICAR first in, last out, theory...which is completely wrong. It causes more problems and fighting than anything. The key is to ignore that advice and instead do what you did...restore the body line first. The position of the body lines controls everything else on the panel. If those are not right, everything else is a fight.

What is the best glue to use and where is best place to get the collision tabs and would it work for deep dent as well? I'm new to it but watching your videos trying to train myself lol
I’m a new subscriber, I would like some tips in how to remove a dent from a fender, I have sent pictures to 3 PDR shops in my area and they all say that is highly probably that the paint will crack, I have seen your videos where you repair dents way more bigger and complex than this dent, can I send you some pictures? Thank you
