You should get that checked out. I really shouldn't be able to hear it during normal activities. When I can hear my heartbeat it means my blood pressure is off.

I actually looked it up and it means that I have a vein in one or both of my ears that allows me to hear me to hear my blood and pulse. Or it could mean something else. I'm glad that you cared enough to let me know though!

@@cassdoescrafts the filters can only do so much, if it didn't matter you wouldn't have to thoroughly shower before getting in. some places make you sign that you understand that if you cause them to have to replace the water and salt then you will be charged a very heft fee

No one would be "on a government watch list" merely for "knowing" such unimpressive and non-classified information. true, but the funny thing is that the pronunciation is still wrong since in latin g and n make a sound non present in english language but still present in latin languages.
It's probably easier for english native speaker to understand which sound it is, by saying that in spanish it's the sound of the letter n with the wave on top, written in words as nino for example (sorry but my keyboard doesn't have that key)
In conversational latin, it'd be like lee-ñoom wee-tie, and in church latin (which is most often used), lee-ñoom vee-tay. It means "wood of life."
Of course, for colloquial purposes, the Jamaican pronunciation is still correct, as languages change and flow based on time, culture, and location. And there's also the fact that Latin is a dead language.

I can't sink, I can float in a sitting lotus position in water. But my husband can't float, even in the ocean with full lungs, he just goes down if I'm not holding him up.
So when I was with my daughter at a Girl Scout STEM event when she was 8 or so and the instructor asked "Who knows what 'dense' means?" she piped up "I do! Mommy say's Daddy is dense! He sinks in the pool." No one heard the second part that proved she REALLY did know what it meant because they were all so busy laughing at first part....

A similar thing happens when you are exposed to the dark long enough. Like if you are in a bathroom with the light off or in a closet. When you lose your senses your mind plays some weird tricks on you.
think of how ruff it would be to be some one on a boat on a starless night then your boat sinks. Your just floating there alone with so little sensory input..... just your mind eating itself
There are some places where you can be in complete darkness, meaning that unlike in a dark closet, where light can still sneak in and your eyes can slightly adjust, you see nothing. But like you said, your mind tricks you. If you wave your hand in front of your eyes, you think you see your hand, but you can’t, you just know where your hand is and your brain thinks it sees it.
Sometimes on hiking trips in caves they turn off all the lights, and, that’s definitely the darkest place i’ve been

But, it also could be proprioception. (Being able to know where any body part is at any time and the brain making a visual simulation of that knowledge.) Ya could test it with two people being in that dark space.

I was in one of those chambers years ago, as I thought it would help my muscles relax. But I have steel rods welded along my spine, and it started relaxing those muscles I need to keep them straight! After two minutes, I had to get out ASAP...! So it works, but it's not for everyone!

As someone that had dealt with anxiety, sleep deprivation, and sleep paralysis for over a decade whose only somewhat relief came when I started sleeping with a blindfold and ear plugs, I have genuinely wondered how much better might sleep in one of those tanks...
