Thank god I'm not alone in finding Suntan boring. I feel like people ship it cause it's the "safe" option. I dunno. It's boring and Kel wouldn't be good as a romantic partner for Sunny imo. They don't have romantic chemistry they have "me and the boys" energy.
I’m a SunTan/CapriSun enjoyer, but I totally agree with what you said about how people tend to interpret it lol. It really bothers me that some people tend to mischaracterise Kel and ignore his struggles for Sunny’s “therapy”.

Personally I ship Kel/Cris mostly because I don't like the idea of everyone in the main cast dating other members of the main cast (also why I'm not partial to Solar System), it makes it feel like their lives solely revolve around each other and they have no other connections.
Also Hero/Brandi >>> Hero/Bowen or Daphne, at least SHE actually canonically knows Hero lol
