This video is my Boucleme review and application tutorial. Along with my review, in this video I offer a few washday tips for maximum hydration, applying stylers to damp hair, tips for volume and styling grey hair.

I’m going try these ASAP. I have tons of gray on my crown and around the face! They are unruly and have a mind of their frizzy own 🤣 finding younger curly girls going gray with me is non existent so thanks for the help

Your hair looks amazing! If my hair look like that just one day I'd be so happy! I was on Amazon the other night looking at the Boucleme, but I didn't get it because I have so many other products and it's expensive. But as soon as I use some of my stuff up, I'm definitely going for this. I think my hair is a lot like yours and I think this product will work great for me. But I have so much other stuff to go through first!

You always give such thorough instruction! It has helped me out a lot! Something I've noticed, and I haven't heard any curly gal/guy say it, is that products that did not work well for my hair when I first started transitioning strictly to CGM now do. I have been revisiting some products I haven't touched in months and my hair responds better to them now. Have you ever experienced this? That is super common actually and I agree not enough people talk about it!!! Why it’s always important to revisit once hair is healthier!!!

Do you think their new stronger hold gel would be better? I have fine curly hair and Im trying to decide which gel I should get!

Your hair looks amazing! So much better than the jessie curl results from your last video Do you know if they make a hard hold gel? My hair is so fine that I feel I dont get enough hold with creams or light gels....but damn you got great results!
angel Glandon they do not have a hard hold :(
They now have a stronger hold gel 😀 haven't tried it yet.

Perhaps she finds it easier to work into her hair when it is less soaked? Just a guess.
Hey Janelle, love you so muchhh. I am not able to purchase deva curl diffuser.. I live in UK and deva curl do not deliver to this address 😢😢I desperately need this since my curls frizz out on diffusing and go flat on air drying. So I think I just have to diffuse my roots and I feel deva curl is the one designed to suit that! But can you suggest some other diffuser please?

Are these products good for permed hair or are these tips for naturally curly. I have permed hair and have been looking for a way to preserve the curls as long as possible.
They should be as they don’t have the harsh sulphates.

They have a clean citrusy smell if i remember correctly

Valsveryown they do contain glycerin! Not all but most of the line. It depends on the product for me!

Does it have a strong fragrance smell?
GIL3969 I find that it has a very strong fragrance for a natural product. It’s quite overpowering x

Martin Dahl im sure you can, as far as I know the products have fresh smells like citrus etc so give it a try 😌 maybe you can also find a mini set to try
You are such a great curly youtuber and I love your reviews, but please please please, save the planet and turn off the water while you are talking. You are a role model for many curly girls and boys, so keep that in mind, and turn the water just on while you are using it.. Thanks 😊 😘 🌼

I think you’re right. Boucle(curl) me (my). Translates to my curls.
On their own website they say bou-cleme
It doesn’t. It’s pronounced like in french. And with the accent, as in: Bouclème, it is definitely not pronounced boo-cla-may

I'll get better about doing that in the future. I do show a lot of back shots on my instagram through photos if you want to check there in the meantime!

Kate S applying to soaking wet hair really weighs my hair down. It also tends to leave to stretched out curls. When I apply to damp hair I have a better idea of how much product my curls need and hair actually absorbs the product better at that point! It also gives me better definition And volume once all said and done!
