O-M-G Mims, im so happy that i watched this video. I started using Boucleme 2 weeks ago. I was really happy after my first wash. Could see difference and happier curls. But after the second one I was sooooo disappointed. It is NOT working for me at all. My hair looks completely the same as yours in the video now and that's not how it normally looks. It's nice to know and see that I'm now the only one!
I think it can be so hit and miss, and just such a massive shame when it's not exactly cheap, some of the products by themselves are still good. I think the gel can be a real winner in combination with others.
Imbue is really good on my hair, though their leave in conditioner, turns into a soft mousse when you use it, which i was not expecting xx

I love and purchased many time the Boucleme defining gel, I use it with a Mousse (Provost for curly hair) and had good results. I use ohter products for refreshing.
But I wasn't happy with the cream (I'll try to finish the bottle, because if I use it for refreshing with some water it smells so bad on my hair).

I have similar hair type to you and also found boucleme way too moisturizing. My hair was losing definition quickly and seems very weight down.
Boucleme is juts not for me, my hair really didn't get along with it at all. Really not cheap products either :(

Loved your video, I watched your first impressions too and it looked so promising 😩 I have the cream and gel too, I get nice volume on day 1 but lose all definition by day 2..I usually pair them with a stronger gel to get them to work for me 🤭 have you tried their super hold styler?

I thought it was going to be amazing, but was super disappointed, Great day 1 then down hill from there. Felt like everyone adored these but me 🤣
I have not tried the super hold styler, I want to try their revive 5 glow, looks so pretty x
@@JustMims 😂😂 That's a shame! Do you know if your hair loves protein? In the past I've almost always had to use products containing protein, recently it hasn't wanted it as much but I used to find if I used products without protein it never held up well 😅
Yes my hair LOOOOOVES protein, and really doesn't do well with a lot of coconut. I definitely learned the latter after usinh Boucleme 🤣

Skip the creme and just use the gel - it made all the difference to me.
I have recently used the gel more and it's fantastic as a stand alone product xx
I dislike Bouclème intensely, I have thick hair and it can take a lot but I find it heavy and like yourself found it greasy feeling, I did not enjoy the scent. There is not enough protein in it for my protein thirsty hair.
I have recently found a new product called imbue that is fabulous!

Glad to be of help! Everyone's hair is different, but I would say if you really want to try Boucleme go for the travel size products, that way if its a no go the outlay isn't as big x
I wasn't mad on the curl cleanser - always end up going back to Aveda Be Cury range.

@@JustMims Aveda sent me samples of Nutriplenish leave in conditioner spray & the flexi hold gel with my last order - it combines nicely with the Be Curly range :-)
