That was a great video! Thank you for sharing it. I saw Larry Norman at Cornerstone in 91. I got to meet him and talk to him for a bit. What a kind and humble guy he was. Truly loved the Lord. He was certainly a good servant to Yeshua. I know he's loving being with Him in heaven. ...I also met and spoke with Mark Heard that day.. Christian music now just isn't substantial like how those two wrote. I liked Larry's comment that he liked it better when he was the only one doing Christian rock, lol. 🥰
I don’t know if it’s still available to Larry’s store, but there was a bootleg release of this concert. I videotaped the entire show and then recorded the audio off of that and tried to clean it up a bit. Still get some background noise. I sent in the audio and they released it as was on CD. It may still be out there somewhere!
The crowd was very appreciative. Long line to meet Larry afterward. He was hot and exhausted but took generous time with each person. Prayed for my son and gave him a T-shirt.
I was at this show with my former youth pastor. Fred got me into Larry back in 86-87. He and his wife were a huge part of me making it through my teens. I recently found out both have now passed away after long fights with cancer. Now this comes into my suggested. I have no choice but to believe it's Fred saying hi. So I'll be here for the next 45 minutes listening with a tear or 2 and a smile. Thanks for the upload.
