Вставка
- Опубліковано 16 жов 2018
- This week we are finally getting back into shop projects and we are starting with a miter saw station! This is very much needed, our miter saw has been sitting on the floor for a long time and it now has a home! There are a lot of great features in this design with the t-track tables, casters, and a lot of storage. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks Rockler & Inventables for Sponsoring this Video!

*I was able to use the stop to cut my pieces all the same **MyBest.Tools** Only let the blade come to a complete stop before lifting it back up otherwise it might 'catch' the work and inadvertently move the stop. Used a second clamp for holding.*
Look's great, stand $150, top $250, wheels $30, drawer slides $52 / pair, etc.
We liked how you put the drawer fronts on, reusing the screw holes for the handles. We've never seen that before, very efficient! Seeing Molly crawl into the cabinet to hold up the sides made us smile 😊
Lol😂 Thanks guys!
Amazing job you two. Keep up the great work
Well it's about time you get back to your own shop.Like the new tables.
Right?! We had fun on the road, but missed our shop!
Those came out great. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed ☺️☺️
Awesome work Y'all! 😃👍👍👊👊
Thanks Fred! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I love modular systems, especially for a small shop like mine. Double-sided tape also works well for temporarily positioning drawer fronts.
Let's give these guys a big hand for joining the miter saw station game👏👏👏
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Great projects and it looks very good on top of being useful for your shop. We don't see enough of both of you. Rare to see a young couple doing woodworking together; it suits you well.
Thank you very much ☺️
I like how y’all used those tables. Really cool
Thanks!
Love this project!
So happy you do!
Was so happy to see a new Woodbrew video had been posted! The pulls are simply perfect! Maple is SO underrated, isn't it? The light natural finish goes well with your "bright" theme for the workshop. Thanks for posting. P.S. Still excited and anticipate the surfboard build! 😎😎😎
Thank you!! We looooove maple! Surfboard coming soon 😊
Nicely done!!
Thanks Jared!
Been waiting for this!!
Haha 😂Thanks for watching! Hope it was worth the wait✌🏻
Pretty good you guys.
😁😁😁
Nice project! I did something very similar but instead of building up the sides of the carts for the drawer slides, I used the Rockler "Drawer Mounting Kits for Multi-Function Shop Stand-Drawer" that are super easy to install and work great! Hope this helps for future builds, the pulls are a nice touch and keep up the good work.
Oh nice! We will have to remember those! Thanks!
Nice built
😊😊
This is the best setup I have ever seen. very functional and modular. If you have a limited space to work with like me this is a no brainier. could you put the cost of your build in the description. I would love to build this if it is in my budget. maybe Rockler will kick in a few parts if I make a video and put it on my channel P.S. I love how the two of you have over come so many obstacle and keep going. your projects are great and I am always inspired.
Yes, I’ve been waiting for the perfect miter saw station that would work for me. This is perfect. I already have 4 of Rockers shop stands. Thanks!!!! Amazing work.
You're all set! Glad you like the design 😊
Sonho em ter essas ferramentas.
Great design, love the use of the rockler frames with the plywood, lots of flexibility to customize. I just wish some of these builds weren't so expensive, between the frames, plywood, hardware, etc this would cost $1000 which would def break the bank.
Yea it’s definitely expensive, but these stands are long term investment in our opinion. Ours have been used in three different shops each time having a different purpose. I love that they are metal and will last forever. Last time we moved we broke a few down to store them and rebuilt them in the new shop. You could save a decent amount by ditching the t track table tops and opt for plywood. I feel like anytime you have to involve a few sheets of 3/4” plywood projects get expensive😕
No agreed, its a great design and definitely built to last, just not a project you can run out and do. I'd love to have these in my shop, just don't have the funds at the moment. Love the tutorials you guys are doing.
Good looking & designed miter station. I like the flexibility the Rockler frames provide. My only concern are the wheels can't be leveled, I guess all the leveling is done under saw base.
The stands come with nice leveling feet if you need to go that route. We are lucky that our floors are flat enough that casters are plenty good enough. Being perfectly flat really isn’t an issue as long as it’s lower than the saw. When you make the cut you should be pushing the board down and against the saws fence to register a square cut.
Seems awfully expensive for a miter stand! $119 for stand plus 1/4" & 1/2" plywood $50 and very expensive Accuride drawer slides. This one stand easily $225!
Very cool. guys! I'm designing a new miter station station right now, and this gives me a few ideas. I'm digging the t-track table tops and the way you secured the saw. One upgrade that could be handy is to add fold out wings to that center cabinet so it could work as a stand alone station that could be rolled to any spot in the shop.
Oooo yea that's a good idea! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! Thanks!
Woodworking yoga!
Haha now that's a class I would love to see
What countersink use? (My english is too bad :( )
another question what screws did you use to secure drawer plywood spaces to the sides? they have wide head on them and what lenght?
@Woodbrew How sturdy are they with just a bottom shelf and top? I’ve been debating between rockler and kreg universal tool stands.
Have you experienced any cons to the Rocklers?
👍👍👍👍
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
What was the wide head counter sink
Love this! I did have a question about the file for the drawer pulls. The link doesn't work. Do you still have that available?
It should work. Try: easel.inventables.com/projects/uGA_QBUyo1FHWb1GBRCiuA
Do you attach the left and right stations to the middle miter saw one? I’ve been researching something similar and am not sure that’s possible using different leg lengths. But I would like to do it to set up longer stops.
We did not attach them together because they are pretty stationary. Even if we had two on each side with the t track tops, those tops overhang, so it would still make it difficult to find a way to get them butt up together to attach. Hope that makes sense😅
WOW awesome project guy's I love it, But the Rockler work tables are to expensive for me guy's lol,Later and much love take care my good friends :)
i noticed you are using casters, how were you able to level these to match across multiple stands?
Straight edge and a level! These casters can be height adjusted, so from one table top to the next and in all different directions we got them pretty darn level!
@@Woodbrew thank you
Very nice but very expensive using the metal stands, T track tables and drawer slides. Any estimate on total cost if you were to purchase those? Cost doesn't take away the fact tat it is very versatile. Thanks for a good video.
Just north of $300 for the metal stands and table top. A bit costly, but lighter in weight and nicer looking. I think I would opt to make my own table top just to save a bit as the top itself is $200.
Yep and they used two of them., a little research = metal stands x 3 = $360; T-Track Tables x 2 = $400' Caster sets x 3 = $150 Total $900 give or take depending on "Sale" items from Rockler
Shop update?
We’ve been behind schedule ever since we had to move out of the last shop and unfortunately had to cut those videos from the schedule for time reasons😩 We are hoping to be on track again first of the year with several new types of content coming out😊
Woodbrew well good to see y’all have a new shop!

Love the video and the team work you two use. I was wondering which countersink drill bits you use? Yours seem to work well. I got the Dewalt ones from Home Depot and they can be very frustrating.
