Awesome book that gives you step-by-step photos ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt and directions to make every day project. I can see myself making a few of these projects and giving them as housewarming and holiday gifts!
I just finished building the handrail on my deck ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z and used this great little router to clean up the top rail before the final sanding and stain. It was light weight but packed lots of power. Either size battery didn't seem to make it top heavy and I'm a 64 yr old women so I really appreciated how easy it was to use...................... CORDLESS only way to go !!
No man you don't talk to much! some of us need to get stuff nock in to their head. Thanks Jason, great video I learn from all of your presentations, so far and i know ,ore are coming cheers.
First Sir I just subscribed, your crazy enough to be kin. Second point is that when I build myself a router table it always has table space for my 2, 2.5 hp. routers. That way when cutting rail and styles or mortice and tenons I need only set up the routers once. With the fences in the middle you work from both sides of the table and never reset the routers until all doors, drawers or mortice and tenons are done. Speeds large jobs up a whole lot. My 3 1/4 hp. router does the raised panel cuts in its own frame like a shaper. Thanks for some great videos. I've learned a lot, like the router lathe.
I love bourbon. I love woodworking. I love good clean humor and excellent craftsmanship. Jason, you have combined that all into one great channel! Well done sir, cheers!! I’ve already subscribed, this is the first channel I’ve given real consideration in helping financially.
We all grow a little bit at a time. All we need is time to grow into the project. I had a panto-router in its box for 18 months before I assembled it, 6 months later I still hadn't powered it up. Now it's my best friend and it keeps me awake at night.
He's probably not even kidding. There's a shortage on those for some reason right now. I build custom kitchens, and just had to buy 6 sets of 30" slides for $900
Im just gonna say it. I don't like the look of undermount enough to justify the price. It's nice, yep, but not that damn nice. Side mount soft close slides for the win.
I was making my CNC enclosure last week and I thought undermount drawer slides would be cool from my dedicated CNC laptop until I saw the price for a single set. The insane price immediately convinced me that regular side drawer slides mounter undermount would do just fine.
Only SOMETIMES annoying? Keep it up - the annoying is fun! I always love watching your high quality work - simple yes, but also really top notch. Love the logo.
I don’t hate your Chanel I think your hilarious plus love watching your trick’s videos thank you for what you do keep doing what you do and I’ll keep watching
That was a cool build. With the metal framework to start with, adding all the panels probably stiffened the “Cabinet” to be rock solid. Great job. You do a wonderful job explaining what you are doing & that helps make watching your videos interesting.
"They make fancy jigs that you can stick on the back and line it up and drill, but that feel like waste of time" Oh how the turns have tabled Mr. UsesTheJigNow. lol Great video. I really appreciate your channel.
I like how he show making those effortlessly. LOL. Make a draw box for me is like a huge project. LOL. But I like how he made it so simple which makes me lot more confident when I attempt to tackle a drawer in the near future. Baltic Birch pretty much everything is badass. I would definitely use much cheaper stuff for non cosmetic stuff to save a few bucks. Good video and I like quality stuff.
i have an old AV stand I got at a yardsale...a lot like your router table but 6 feet tall and includes elec strip on it. Now I am gonna steal, er, borrow, no, be INSPIRED by your project to enclose it into a nice, mobility enabled cabinet.
Details like grain matching shop furniture enhances the enjoyment I get from being in my shop. Kinda like the feeling that my truck rides better and goes faster when it’s clean. Besides, I think it’s good practice for those times when details really matter. Of course, I’ve been in more than one shop where the banged together furniture didn’t get in the way of the owner’s creating absolutely beautiful work.
I’ve watched enough now that when Jason cuts a corner I’m thinking no do it the long tedious way. I’m pretty tedious with the small things myself. Nice to have a channel to learn enough from that you can do that! This channel is the best.
So, you're the one who did my shirt. Yes I bought your shirt. Because of you I am now addicted to wood working. 🪵 I'm rebuilding my RV and I'm doing all the cupboards and shelves all by my little self.
You’re quickly becoming one of my UA-cam favorites! Maybe it’s because I’m from Oregon, but your humor makes it all the more fun. Also, you’re very talented and explain things very well. Thanks for this video!
Like the nice simplistic build. Good to have a few of those for the ones of us who aren't quite up to Jason's skill level....yet! One day, maybe, hopefully!
Another way I was taught to attach the drawer face to the box is to predilection the box screw locations stick the screws out a hair. Then hold the face in the location using shims or marks then push it into the screws to make the marks on the back. Works perfectly for me every time.
Brilliant again! The one thing that's great about your videos is that they inspire me to make something. To perfect this you need a dust collection box to house your router with an outlet to your DC system.
This channel is so entertaining and being a new woodworker I also find it easy to follow. I’ve learned many things from Jason on this channel and I also listen to their podcast Shop Sounds. On their podcast it’s like Larry, Curly and Moe. By themselves they would just be above average in terms of entertainment but together they definitely are very entertaining. Jason is definitely Moe, Nick is Curly and Keith could be Larry. Regardless keep up the good work, Jason.
Great idea, I have a small standalone Craftsman Router Table which I had for over 25 years. Building experience and a great idea. Harbor Fright has the metal stand up's at a good price. Time to build a new router table. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Same here. Sort of like lining up the tire logo with the valve stem on a bicycle tire install. It means nothing, but it means something to those who notice.
Great idea, I have a friend who has the same router table and set up as you and I think I’ll go over and helping build the same thing. Won’t ever do it himself so I’ll get it done for him.
Now, on a rainy day, you can make sloped router bit holder inserts to hold your dozens of router bits in visible splendor. No joke though, very nice job!
Please please please add a comment in the next video when you happen to use those awesome Blum undermount slides: using the "smacking the drawer box in place to find the right position to drill the rear hole is great, but make sure the rear adjuster is set to a midpoint position first!". I learned this one the hard way. Some of those Blums ship with the adjuster set in a maxed out setting, completely screwing you when you want to adjust it later.
Using the Blum slides is undoubtedly the way to go, but damn if those slides aren’t prohibitively expensive for some projects. I just made tool cabinets for myself with 14 drawers and I only used the Blums for the 4 heaviest drawers. Also, he’s right about the drawer construction here. Just keep it simple with 5 pieces, glue, and 16 gauge nails. But make sure you’re building the drawers as shown in his cabinet video or the drawers will not be strong.
Have this same table and installed a large drawer in the bottom section with a shelf above. Had no idea what I was going to do with the area directly under the router top. Thank you for this!
Very cool, I just bought same router table and was going to put shelves in to store boxes. I think i am going to change to the full monte (this idea) seems like the right thing. Thanks
Very cool upgrade! I just found your channel today and have really enjoyed catching up. Great content and awesome sense of humor. We all need more of that these days.
I have exact same table and just couple days ago I drew plans for a built. Little different but Almost the same functionality “storage”. But dust collection is going at the back with adjustable vents on the front for sure.

When he says "you won't regret it" he's right. Hands down one of my favorite channels for comedy. He also does some wood working from time to time.
I wish I had said that.

I am glad to see a UA-camr with a saw dust covered workshop. Makes it more authentic and real.
I watch these videos 60% because I like he looks in jeans and 40% because I love woodworking projects.
No man you don't talk to much! some of us need to get stuff nock in to their head. Thanks Jason, great video I learn from all of your presentations, so far and i know ,ore are coming cheers.
Looks like an old fashion stove. Cool jewel.
Black metal frame, black pulls, birch plywood. That looks ridiculously classy. It's a shop cart, but looks nice enough to be in the living room.
The thing i luv the most about this channel is the sarcastic direct way of talking with the very respectful idgf type of thing
An artistic approach to utility. Very nice. And…instead of anger with the cameraman, a good hug. I’m subscribed.
The best part of this video is watching you do the initial cut of the 4x8 on the table saw. Good to see a way to not struggle with that.

I really enjoy your video performances. My kind of humor!
The intro alone is what caused me to press "subscribe" before I even got into the video. 🖤
Your voice is super soothing. You should have a pod cast or radio channel.
Blum drawer slides are the thing i always buy now because “Jason uses them”. I laughed way too hard at the $600

Came for the word working, stayed for the jokes and the wholesome family moments.

You deserved that beer, that was a killer upgrade and I loved the results. Nice work!! 👍🏻
You earned that beer. Excellent improvements all around.
Drawer slide install before building drawers! You ARE that smart. Great idea.
"Pretty ugly, huh", it took me a second to realize Jason was talking about the router table ;)
Awesome. Very crisp and clean look. Respect from England
