Sorry it's been so damn long since the last video. I had some horrid luck with my room flooding in thunderstorms two separate times over christmas and new years, and spent a pretty big chunk of the new year clearing that out. So, I didn't even get to start run until about the third week of January. Anyways, hope you like it. Be nice if you do, be mean if you don't...To someone else I mean. Not me. Only be nice to me. I'm precious.😁
The heal miracle is a great supplement for casual buils. With 12 faith and 1 attunement slots you can basically double your healing capacity early game without needing humanity. The thorulund talisman is perfect for this setup
quick tip for people not choosing master key for whatever reason: you never need to do blight town from the depths, if you run from the parish bonfire through dark root basin, past the grass crest shield and through valley of drakes. from there you can always get into the "back entry" of blight town, pick up the new londo key and open the shortcut to firelink shrine
Alternative option. Once you kill the Gaping Dragon, just leave the Depths. Domhnall will move to Firelink Shrine where he will now be selling the Master Key Edit: I was wrong. As someone else pointed out, he doesn’t move until you ring both bells
Okay, I'm a minute in, and I'm subscribed. You gave Gough his respect, because nothing that we do against that AOE machine of "fuck you and the controller you rode in on" can compare to a blind dude that hasn't moved enough to shake the sawdust off in 150 years hit center range at a mile's distance with the first shot.
9:26 well you CAN actually go the short way down to the bottom of Blight Town without the Master Key, no Dept required. just run from Andre past the Titanit Demon, down to the Hydra, into the Elevator Shaft near the Dark Knight, down into the Valley of Drakes, past The Zombie Dragon, and into Blight Town that way, sure it takes a bit longer then if you had the Master Key, at list Progression Wise, but it is FARE from being Hard, or even Impossible, it is not even a long trip compared to the Dept Entrance. through i would still recommend people playing through the long way, just fore the Loot along the way through.
I chose Cleric once, I was going for an SL16 WoG Darkmoon Build. I'd use a dried finger and blue eye orb to hunt down dark wraith twinks in undead burg, they NEVER expect the WoG at such a low level, I got so much hate mail it was DE-LICIOUS 😂
You've earned another subscriber and deserve more. Great video and narration. So sorry to hear about the flooding you had to deal with. Welcome back to posting content
I played cleric mostly as kind of an easy mode. You have additional healing and there are some really good offensive miracles, so you have magic for attack and defense. Also you can really use divine weapons with scaling to make the Catacombs and Tomb of the Giants easy.
The abysstraversing ring is called the covenant of Artorias not the crest of Artorias (damn reading that comment back I sound so toxic, wasn’t meant like that 😭)
10:26 I killed that spider with +0 handaxe and it is the easiest boss to straif so just get 1 or 2 hits on backend than wait for lava vomitting attack , rince and repeat for 20 or 30 minutes
good vid, wanna a tip?,put some music in the background, only voice over SILENCE gets really boring, and also, don't spam the same music, use different ones in a single video
I mean, i still enjoyed it, even without music. He's a funny guy and goes into enough depth to where i know what's going on, even without watching it 24/7. You may have found it boring, but this feels needlessly rude for some "advice"
The mace actually has absurd strength scaling, I've used it myself. Were you not levelling strength much early game? because that damage should definitely be higher lol
Maces are really good in this game you guys. I just finished a demon's great hammer run and despite being slow and extremely heavy the game felt like easy mode.

93/93 we appreciate you, hope alls well now
Hope the damages could be repaired and everything is okay
Gods are punishing you for mocking them 😁 Do you have a full video of this run, I'm sensing it would hilarious to watch 😀
Fellow Queenslander? Great video man and sorry to hear about the damage, we got pretty pumped here too :(
@@asteriqs2635 Nah, Melbourne. Thanks though.

That's actually so obvious I cannot believe it never came to my mind. I'm so dumb.
@@calvalier520 8) you yunguns and yer wikis- back in my day we actually had to explore the world

@@zylo4029 he only moves to firelink after ringing both bells
@@whodatiscody I see, my mistake. I usually leave Gaping Dragon until after the bells anyway so I guess assumed he moved after killing it
Me reading the title: Oh Cleric? That’s my favourite build, easy
“Without Estus”
Oh, oh that changes things
16:54 Technically, everything is a blind spot for Seath

Gough is an elite knight of Gwyn for a damn good reason. Bro's built different
He did all that Blind too due to the Resins in his helm
@@ALCecil I think I touched on that when I called him a blind dude.

I loved this entire playthrough man, that was awesome. And respect for not using Estus.
Loved it, keep up, your narration style is awesome, I would dare say it makes you quite the charming fellow

16:22 was such a multilayered joke, that's comedy right there!
I didn't think anyone would get it.
Me reading the title: Ah, so like my first DS2 run.
Me seeing the rules: oh no.
I really enjoyed your video, new subscriber 🥰
Good to know that your room is no longer flooded ❤️

You got pretty good near the end of the video, i guess this playtrough was like a massive recovery
That was quite a challenge
how hard is it to play dark souls as a cleric?
Me: easy, I always roll cleric in any souls game since 2009 demon's souls.
Title: Without Estus
Me: o_0
Great video!
Thanks!
And that's how the cleric beast was made
No estus makes this brutal, even if i expect the mace will hold its own the whole game
it rlly didn't for me
@irisdaniels2318 skill issue, ds1 mace is pretty good
ive tried using other stuff besides the mace but i’m seriously addicted to it, carried me through 1-3 and it’s currently taking me through DeS.
this video is amazing, new sub!
I beat all dark souls as an archer always has been my go too
10:26 I killed that spider with +0 handaxe and it is the easiest boss to straif so just get 1 or 2 hits on backend than wait for lava vomitting attack , rince and repeat for 20 or 30 minutes
Unga bunga
9:38 no you don’t need a master key for that you can go through the dark route basen to get to blight town
Wanderer with curved swords & curved greatswords only
Not a hard run but a good run
Try the hunter out I think it would be an interesting play through
yaaaynew vid!!!!
Are you a cleric or something?
But why don't use other miracles? Great healing, barrier, God's wrath?

I think I was trying to spread out my stats evenly between strength vit and endurance. I probably should have maxed it out straight away.
You could have done the patches quest line first so you had miracles to play with throughout the game instead of just heal and mace..
