  • In this video I made a pan that will go under the seat to hide all of the harness past the tank. I will be making the seat out of fiberglass, so ill be able to fit it in-between the bottom of the seat and this pan. I also decided on getting a Shorai battery after this video so i will be further adjusting the pan to fit the battery.
I've found the wiring harness to be the most difficult part of this build so far. Its pretty hard to conceptualize where to put things while keeping the bike functional and looking good. Fingers crossed this will work!

@@jimmybuildsbikes I just started thinking watching your videos.
I had similar projects, but I took Soviet-made motorcycles as a basis. I plan to start building from GS500 in winter, or when I get another bike for everyday riding)

@@vredniigs5006 the gs500 is deff a good starter build. Lots of things you can do with it. I also have an fz09 for my daily so I haven’t had to sacrifice riding lol

I picked one of these up today missing most of the body and needing electrical gone thru. I'm planning something similar and def going to steal this tail tray idea.

Aye that’s dope. I ended up ditching this tray and did a better one in the next episode lol 😅

Take care for the transformer, because it heat up during driving the bike. This part needs to be cooled by the wind!

Thanks for the tip! I’ve considered putting it on the outside bottom of the new tray I made (in episode 3) will have a solution in episode 4 though (currently in the works)
