Honda CB750 Cafe Racer - EP6 - Electrical Tray & Battery Tray

In this episode of the Café Racer build on the 1992 Honda Nighthawk CB750 we build a battery tray and electrical tray to be mounted under the seat. This will allow us to cleanly hide all the electronics and wiring. The items that can be relocated will be the turn signal relay, the starter relay/solenoid, the wiring harness and the ignition control module/CDI.
Using a grinder, die grinder, welder and other tools the battery tray is made and the electrical tray is attached to the motorcycle.

Add some rubber between the battery and your strap. If not it can rub through the battery case.

Thanks for the tip! I added some sticky back foam for that exact reason.

What gauge steel?

I believe I used 14 gauge steel for the tray.
