  • Somebody's Fox, a 1962 release on the Mack IV label # 117. Written by Green/McEachin/Evans and produced by Jimmy Mack (aka Jimmy McEachin). The flip side is Gee Baby.
The Furys are best known for their 1962 release of Zing Went the Strings of My Heart which was recorded as well by PJ Proby in 1964. Perhaps of interest, a song written by James M. Smith (aka PJ Proby) "Anything for You" was recorded by The Furys and released in 1964 on the World-Pacific label.

I had a 45 minute mix of Somebody's Fox on cassette I made back in High School in the late 80's. What fond memories.
