My first impressions: Age is quite "meh", great building is alright, units seem good, but in terms of mechanics it's just another copy of SAM :(
Exactly so that's 4 ages in a row being the same mechanics.
Great rundown on the new age. Look forward to seeing the strengths/weaknesses of the new army units.

Great video. You can always tell which unit is the best by looking on which unit is the last one you can acquire on the tech tree. No surprise as you indicated its the "Harpoon Grenadier".

I probably wont be in this era for like 5 years or so but it was quite entertaining watching where I could be one day :). Loved the video as always!

The thing about the contact and range is that the ranged unit will close the distance on the first turn, then it will get to use its contact even against the artillery in most circumstances. The question is which moves first? If the artillery moves first you have an advantage since you have rouges, but if the ranged unit move first you can't really use artillery against them ad there usually is an army with 8 ranged units in gbg. Unfortunately I am not even close to Jupiter on the beta server to test this myself.
What are your thoughts about the recent obsession with putting guild goods as a building reward? Three recent event buildings and now another GB. Good for lower age players to build their guild treasury, but seems like a waste of a reward when you get to the later ages. Really no use for them outside of opening GE and building things in GBG. Maybe prepping to add something that will use a lot more goods?
Tbh I think it's more of a response to GBG costs, which can be quite expensive for active guilds. I wouldn't be opposed to more guild activities, though, as long as they are fun and not too time consuming :)
What is the best level for space carrier before enter the arctic future?
Level 1, ideally you wanna level it when you get to AF so that you can get the extra special goods. You might also consider waiting or only doing half the levels until you reach OF, as that takes the longest :) As for level, 58 is optimal, then next milestone is 91.
Looks nice at least. Different topic, what do you do with that irritating thing in St. Patrick's where you got tasks that shouldn't be completed clogging the quest?
Nothing to do about that I'm afraid, you either do them or you permanently lose a task slot in that town
@@MooingCatFoE yeah, I've got Festival 4 and Drinks 3. I left the transport task overnight and it's still done. I have my Festival and Shipyard at 150 and want to upgrade them to speed up the task but that would make the upgrade tasks harder. They should have given us the option to skip tasks we don't want.
I'm a gonna be honest, after a solid year of spamming Power Dragon, while my town hall, Royal Bathouse lv 6, Governor's Villa lv 9, and Timeless Dojo lv 5, producing multiple units I never use,
I'm quite pleased we don't have another round of "1 unit is OPAF, while the rest SUCK"
From what I've seen, we get 2 decent units, those being Cavitation Tank, and Harpoon Granadier, while the rest are just below average

It'll make it a bit less useful for sure, though if you just need the guild goods Atomium will be cheaper to level
the size of atomium made it obsolete. it's an end game vanity gb for bored players who have already hit level 100+ w/ the good GBs.
Mars offered new game system since that time nothing, asteroids copy of Mars, Venus copy of Mars now Jupiter copy of Mars... I let you guess what will be Titan... a lot of long time players left foe after Venus... where is innovation ? Where is creativity ?
Same for great buildings... since virtual with Himeji nothing really new or useful. Virgo is another version of Kraken, Stargazer is ok but not really useful for high ages players, Transporteur (sorry Im using french names) is a negotiation version of Himeji, flying Island is beautiful but expensive and rewards are just a joke (you can find them in low lvl eg, even incidents around your city or relics). And here comes A.I Core is a lot more expensive 1050 of each goods and is a mix of Observatory/Atomium/Arch for goods and transporteur for getting special goods... useless. Is Innogames now a company only having designers ? Seems developers are great at using ctrl-c ctrl-v then just have to link that code to the database... no more creativity and, with space, there are a lot of new ways that could be proposed...
AI core is only good for alts - different cities , unfortunately not so much for our main ones. Treasury goods are always good but AI CORE could have been better.
I’m playing it in beta I’m so underwhelmed. Terrible GB. I doubt anyone will be building. Units not as good as SAV units. Mechanics a copy as the previous ones. I won’t be moving up unless it’s to get to the era after. This along with the shambles of the anniversary event I’m gutted. Inno is going downhill :(
players wait forever for new ages and then it continues the trend of only including 1 GB. which is pure thrash because it only effects unneeded synthesizers & terminals that no one has used since leaving those ages. it's not even good if it affected special goods producing GBs but at least it'd be less garbage.
Kind of meh, especially the GB, I doubt they will change it.

You can use the auto generated subtitles, they can be translated to your language.
I have a full time job, I'm busy enough already, so I don't have the time to make subtitles, especially when there's already an alright alternative in the auto generated ones. I definitely can't make translated subtitles except for Norwegian, I don't speak any other language well enough to do a better job than the auto translated ones.
