Very often the community asked me to publish a video about the latest era in Forge of Empires, Space Age Mars. The problem was, that my most advanced city was in the Oceanic Future. I contacted other players and they agreed to support me with pictures and information. Thank you all for that support. The problem was that it confused more than it helped. This new age is completely different. In the end I had more questions than before. I definitely cannot describe experiences with Space Age Mars without having played it myself.
So I decided to quickly advance to the Virtual Future, I ran through it in only 2 weeks and arrived at the end of the Virtual Future a week ago. Then I had to recognize that I do not have enough supplies. At the beginning of the Virtual Future I had a stock of 250 million supplies. I once thought that I would never again have to produce supplies in this game. 2 weeks later at the end of the Virtual Future my storage was nearly empty and I was unable to release the final technology of the Virtual Future. On top the first technology of Space Age Mars requires another 50 million supplies. So I got all boosts from the tavern and the inventory and during a full week I used 9 terrace farms to deliver supplies every hour to build a small stock again. This allowed me to advance to Space Age Mars today.

Statistically seen 95% of all cities will never reach Space Age Mars. So this is a possibility for players to see that content of the game without reaching there. In the VR future, the same thing happened with me. A lot of supply is required. For me it took a few month to collect that much. In the earlier ages, always the goods production was the rate determining step, until here. On mars however...... You need 7000 goods from each, but I my case that is not the worst of it. The worst is, that I can not product mars ore, because I still have not reached the Mars map. So I am locked in the 6th tech on the tech tree until I reach the mars maps, and start to produce the ore. Maybe I am a little bit too negative, but this era is painful.
I would use the colony at first for producing as many credits as possible. Ignore life support in the begin. Since this doesn't affeact your credits production and the first life support building is terrible. On the cmap try to reach the Mars ore as quickly as possible. In the main time I strongly suggest to unlock te steelwarden. Since Space Age Mars units are much stronger than VF units and the Steel Warden can help in the beginning a lot. Back in the main city try to focus on supplies production for keeping an healthy stock of supplies. Since you can run out of it very quickly in Space Age Mars.
Later when your more advanced into this age. It is wise to to aim at the first 24h Mars ore deposit. Keeping the colony life support at a max. giving 75% discount on supp/coin costs for goods is also much needed. As there is always an realistic risc of running out of supplies quickly in this age.
You're right, i also thought i would never need supplies and money over again... Vr is very consuming.. iam half way, but that's because iam also levelling my arc to 60, and had to build a himaiicastle and terracotta army. Lucky you adviced To get tholos to lvl10, thx ! All the way through VF in 2 weeks ? Wow.
When you start producing goods from Mars I thought first to not care to not provide life support so that I could add more goods buildings but did not since I then I did not get enough mars ore for more goods buildings. When I was done with techs it was not any point since then need for mars goods is then not that high. I found upgrading CF to be important since it gives more goods from quests.
I found that Space Age Mars GE is easier than it was in VF.

As part of the Mars video series I only recorded little about GE Virtual Future. It will be mentioned in the next video, but only 2 fights as these have a relationship to Mars Age. Of course next week I will show the GE of the Mars Age
I wasn't in Virtual Furure long. Therefore I had no time to analyze all battles - I just made them.

This is why you basically need to invest in a Himeji Castle, otherwise you'll be doing that with TFs.
