Is it overpriced ... honestly not really ..... people often say honestly just before they are about to lie.
I have both of these & also the Astro A50s + Arctis 9X. The B&Os feel great, audio is good but the touch controls are terrible in the moments of gameplay if needing adjusting. Astros are for bass heads but nice dock for charging. Xbox wireless is nice for $99 but ALOT of creaking when you move your neck around. Arctis after updating via a computer are actually pretty nice, wireless & Bluetooth. I’d recommend the Arctis 9X overall these for $199 in my opinion. Great mic, good bass, Bluetooth, & nice overall build.

I'm really baffled so many people can't tell good sound from bad. The X box headset sounds awful. The bass is crazy dominant but also terribly rumbly and imprecise and just overshadows everything else (and I love good bass, I even was a bass player half of my life, lol). The mids are screechy and sound totally unnatural, highs are kinda okay for the price but sound a bit cloudy of course.
It's comfy, it's cheap, it's well build! But it sounds terrible if you know what good sound is like.
but what about the problem of some kind of static noise or sound when connected to Xbox X or S via 2.4Ghz connection, which many bloggers say that you can say about this, only honestly))))
Got the B&O for less than £150. Is that a bargain?

Hey, would you know if the Dolby Arnos feature works when using Apple Music via the beoplay portal?
Unfortunately we no longer have the headphones, but it technically should as long as the track is spatial audio/Dolby Atmos capable on Apple Music.
@@Terafiedit won’t because the Spatial Audio will only entertain apple or beats headphones/earbuds as it software locked, but you can still force Dolby Atmos to play in Apple Music settings, but it won’t be configured properly and sound absolute garbage
If I have the headset wired to my controller could I use Bluetooth on my phone or no ?
How do B&O audio quality compare with Audeze Penrose or Corsair Virtuoso?
We can’t say for sure since we’ve not reviewed those. Apologies. Do check out other reviews out there!
The Penrose sound better, but planar magnetic drivers are fundamentally flawed. I sent mine back after the driver started crackling thanks to just taking them on and off. I have the B&O portal and I'm underwhelmed by the audio for gaming. I'm going to try the Xbox Wireless instead, then sell the portals.

Xbox Headphones are worthless but then again anything Xbox is garbage that is why I sold my Series X and got a PS5 and got rid of these Xbox headphones and got the B&O I also have had SteelSeries Arctis Pro and Astro A50 and JBL Quantum 800 and Epos Sennheiser H3PRO Hybrid and Penrose they are all just crap next to the B&O as for trying to listen to music and talk on the phone while gaming stick with one thing maybe you will get to be a marginal gamer. Next compare a VW to a BUGATTI CHIRON talk about dumb!
