- Goku Black is one of the most popular and one of the most powerful villains within the Dragon Ball universe. His goals to wipe out the lowly mortals and deities came to fruition, and he was immediately shown to be a huge threat. Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks were unable to defeat this formidable being several times, but how would a destroyer of gods fare up against Black? Gorr is an underrated, but extremely powerful villain in the Marvel Universe whose goals were very similar to that of Goku Black's; which was to wipe out the foolish gods. After he was pulled back into the future he laid there injured and said the pain would make him stronger. Likely once he recovered, but I think he evolved Zenkai boost (somehow) with him God ki which then changed it to constantly growing stronger after any kind of damage.

If he could... he could have learn UI and might have but like you said, HAD THE POTENTIAL. Heroes... sort of brought him back but limit him too. At least he has SS3 Rosé.

I feel like we should mention that Old King Thor has his version of the Odin force. Odin transferred it to him upon his death and then it became the Thor force. So Old King Thos has his and Odin's powers at the same time as well as eons woth of combat experience.

I think something not taken into account very often when it comes to dragon ball Z fights is how small the base universe of dragon ball Z is compared to our own, or universes with the same structure as our own. Their universe has been mapped out entirely with exact statements to how big certain landmarks are like the snakeway which is half the size of our universes sun, but stretches half way across the known universe in terms of end to end diameter, which would make their universe only roughly around the size of two of our suns. That being taken into account of feats such as:"Cracking the universe" with punches should then be properly reduced to "moving stars with their punches". Although even if you don't want to get that mathematically deep about it, I still believe Gorr would win not due to just him being stronger and having defensive superiority, but while Goku Black's clones are stronger than his minions, Goku Black is still the only actual target there. Gorr is a smart, intelligent hunter. He doesn't /have/ to bother with the fodder, and he doesn't always play with his food as shown with the very first god he killed, it was in a single, swift strike out of rage and dedication to his goal. He is fully willing to pussy out in order to find a position in which he can end the fight in a single strike. And given the fact he was able to cripple old man Thor in a single blow I'd say he's more than capable of doing the same to Black, rendering his ability to get too strong moot if he kills him that quickly. Which upon realization that he is an actual threat that should be taken seriously, he more than likely would. Also while I do realize Dragon Ball Super is multiversal now it doesn't change the size of the base universe and as we do not have a way to scale any different in other universes I think it's fair to assume, to avoid no limits fallacies, that their universes are similar in size without any distinct display of anything different.
Yeah good point except that the Dragonball Universe is like the world tree. It has multiple dimensions that themselves are referenced to be universe sized. If a character in dragonball is capable of destroying a bad universe they're capable of exterminating multiple universe making them multiversal.

At (7:09), that picture was actually a young Odin from the Marvel Legacy comics. Odin from a million years ago, back when he first got the hammer forged out of Uru metal, and trapped the mega, living storm inside of it. It was funny 'cause the hammer wasn't obeying Odin. It was pissing him off too. Which is why he stored it away Until 100s of thousands of years later ,Thor lifted it. Story didn't make sense because Odin is too young for a million years ago. Think it was from an alternate time line.
I really want Gorr to win this one. But, given instant transmission I don't see how. I am a dragon Ball fan, but I do identify with Gorr, and as much as I want to see the floor wiped with black I can only see him as the winner. Bummer.

So basically the conclusion is if Gorr is in character and his messing around with Goku black than Goku black would win because of his ability to get stronger overtime and that makes sense. But the other thing Chuck said was that if Gorr and Black would go all out from the very beginning Gorr would obviously win considering chucks own statements of when he did Gorr vs Berrus he said Gorr is stronger, faster and more durable than berrus so basically a all out Gorr (blood lusted)from the very stars is basically defeating black considering that Black is not even as strong as berrus so to resume: In character probably Goku black because of his ability, and the other is the two are blood lusted from the very start Gorr basically stomps.
If there's a serious outlier in terms of screwing with power scaling in Super, it isn't the saiyan females. It's Goku Black. Goku Black who *IN BASE FORM* was only barely losing ground against a modern SS2 Goku. A Goku Black who in Rose form, which is confirmed to be only his version of the basic SS form, was rivaling God tier characters. That's utter lunacy... We know a saiyan's power is always multiplied off thier base forms in transformations, and that their base forms more or less have no limits in terms of gaining strength and potential, but wtf did Black do in order to zenkai *THAT* much?

It isn't though. That magazine article was an interview by a canon source. And the craziest part yet, it's not likely even perfected super saiyan (grade 4). Which means it's only a a 50x from base multiplier. Goku Black is just that damn ridiculous lol.

It's always a bummer when the primary reason for winning a VS. is the zenkai. But oh well, it's canonical, as gimmicky as it often is. However as mentioned, if Gor knew of this, he would probably be able to outwit GB. Zamasu & GB were cool & all, but I don't think anyone can really peg them as geniuses. Gor was more than just rage, he was also calculating.

Goku Black is strong however , I see this playing out like Goku v Bergamo. Gor the God Butcher would overload his abilities. He has put down Galactus and fought with Odin. Goku Black may have killed off all of the Gods of Destruction ,but whos to say he just didn't kill off all the Makaioshin easily the smart way ? Gor the God Butcher for the Win . I mean the guy has put down Gods who wrestle with Blackholes for fun. Not even the version of Goku that was much stronger than Goku Black during the Tournament of Power was able to do that. With the force of a black hole coming down on him and the Androids he was being held down for a while . He couldn't even Instant Transmission. Gor has much mor impressive feats.

I'm 99% sure that the sensation that goku had when fighting zamasu that he related to beerus was god ki, not Zamasu having BOG level power.
Even though I am sure you're right with the producer's comments about Black being the strongest, I don't personally think he was stronger than Goku Kaioken or Vegeta who seemed to be at a higher power level in SSB.
Black just had an ability that was OP and I really think that there was a trick to beating it. Perhaps it involved something like sealing the dimensional rift or changing it's energy. Yes it is a little head-canon because no official explanations. But there really should be to justify the fusion of Black and Zamasu instead of it being a terrible idea to fuse. That instead it was absolutely needed, Black still would have been killed if Goku and Vegeta saw through the technique.
They really should have extended the arc and one of the things that should have happened was to show Goku or Vegeta actually having to go fully against the technique and beat it.

Seriously, there can be 1,000,000,000,000x difference in two characters' powers and they can still be in the same tier.
They still used a weak justification for it: Basil helping out in the "beam struggle" vs SSB Goku and Vegeta. Especially since he lost to the likes of Majin Buu not too long before that.
