It clearly states that TOAA failed to gain control and was no longer omnipotent because Thanos was overriding his power. TOAA is the same exact character as Above All Others. It is not stated or implied to be an avatar or a different character. Whoever implies otherwise would need to show proof. Regarding God Quarry Thanos, it is the "base" Thanos from Donny Cates' run that helped and fought the King Thanos that I mentioned, but since both are on comparable levels of power, there's really no reason to go over both. I might do an update on him once more issues come out.

Well, he does. In comics, as powerful as he is here, he’s nowhere near the top. Infinity stones/gems would actually put him closer to the higher tier of marvel cosmic beings.
Ablaze Dawn Thanos from the Cosmic Ghost rider timeline is pretty fucking powerful seeing how he one-shot Galactus without any stones. He really doesn’t need the stones seeing how he’s gone beyond the powers of the stones multiple times, but having the stones is useful to him.
Lord Darklight yes, he has gone beyond the powers of the stones... but not by himself. Most of those time if not all, it’s from an external power source. And while overpowering Galactus is impressive, there are beings that make Galactus look like an ant
Ablaze Dawn Oh yeah decently. Galactus isn’t the most powerful being, but a fully fed Galactus is easily one of the most powerful cosmic beings. I’m pretty sure a cosmic cube is more useful to Thanos than the stones because it can be used anywhere and everywhere unlike the stones which are only functioning in one universe. It also doesn’t help that the source of energy from which the cosmic cube draws from makes it just powerful if not more powerful than the stones.

Years ago, I came across the Infinity Gauntlet comics and was drawn to Thanos. His mannerism...the way he talks, how he outsmarts his opponents, his calmness...it was different from any villains I've seen before. And I instantly became a fan.

I’m a Superman fan, but Silver Surfer beats Superman, and Thanos wiped the floor with SS. It would be an interesting fight, and Supes would do better than some give him credit for, especially if he truly let loose, but in the end, Thanos takes him down.

Actually, Thanos vs Odin was a standstill battle, because Thanos wasn't trying to beat Odin; he was trying to reason with him and was protecting Warlock for another mission. Also, Thano has grown more powerful nowadays. ;)

Thanos is one of those villains that is supposed to strike fear into the hearts of everyone who hears his name. Anyone who thinks this guy can be beaten easily, let alone beaten, clearly know only what they want to know about Thanos. The one thing about that makes Old Man Thanos lose points though is that he still went on his millions of years killing spree for Mistress Death. He became the most powerful being in the universe just to impress a girl that’ll never love him. And yet Young Thanos is still able to beat him.
I just want to be bring up a couple things. (1) Even in the 70's -80's before his 1st death, Thanos was described by the Collector (an Elder of the universe) to be equal to them. This is important cause the Silver Surfer once said that the Elders were superior to him, and a couple of them (the Collector and the Grandmaster for sure and who are rivals to each other) are at or said to be close to the Watchers and while more powerful Galactus has been a hesitant on dealing with them. This was long before Infinity Gauntlet arc where it was stated a couple times that Death increased his power. (2) Thanos helped free the Inbetweener. This took place before he 1st got all six infinity stones, and when he was going after the 1st stone (Soul). Inbetweener was far beyond the Elders of the universe, and once fought Galactus to a stand still, Inbetweener once in the early 2000's fought a Odin Force King Thor (this Thor scaring Hela, remade the moon, was said to destroy planets and stars by accident, fight Desak (who had killed and absorb thousands of Gods, and once Thor said that Bor could one shot him if he didn't have the Odin Force). Also the prison the Inbetweener was in was created by Lord Chaos and Master Order who are both shown in 14:41 to be above a normal Galactus and once even said this to Galactus. (3) there's a point where during Thanos fight with Odin where he tries to trap Odin in the same thing that he used to trap a Warrior Maddness Power Stone Thor which Odin was able to break out of. Odin has once beaten Mephisto in his own realm (where he's at his most powerful). Mephisto who in his own realm once fought a hungry but resently eaten Galactus and gained a slight edge over him until Galactus threatened to eat Mephisto's realm forcing Mephisto to quit.

Cool bro! I collected most of those books in your video. You should also pick up Johnathan Hickman's book, (Infinity.) Thanos was looking for his son; Thane, but encountered Black Bolt instead. Thanos grabbed Black Bolt demanding where Thane is, but Black Bolt did his sonic scream point blank in Thanos's face, only cracking his armor. Black Bolt's sonic voice can level cities and when screaming, can blow up planets. Thanos just took it and choke slammed Black Bolt into the gravel, breaking part of the ground. Fast forwarding at the end of the book, Thane created a box around Thanos and took Thanos's powers away. You should also pick up the comic book series (Thanos Returns). Thane found out his father was free but powerless. Thane, also without power went to go finish off Thanos. But Thane knew a powerless Thanos is still dangerous and capable to inflict damage. So with the guide of Mistress Lady Death, he got the powers of the Phoenix Force. Meanwhile a weak Thanos was encountered by The entire Shi'ar Empire and was wrecking them until Gladiator flew down and knocked out a sickly Thanos. He and Shi'ar Empire locked Thanos up into their prison. However, Thanos managed to escape. Thanos with the help of his younger brother; Eros aka Starfox visited 3 witches through a Black Hole entered. He was there to seek the God Quarry to get his powers back. He had to pass some trial/test in order to receive his true form. After succeeding the test, he eventually cross paths with Thane and the fight between these 2 looked like some Dragon Ball Z fight, both flying around the galaxy breaking planets. Eventually, Phoenix Force Thane was defeated and the 3 witches blast Thane making the Phoenix flying off into space. But when I got to finally see him in live action, I was like where's his other powers? No teleportation, no flight, no telekinesis, no matter manipulation, no cosmic energy blasting abilities. At least he got a cool dual sword in End Game. He never had that in the comics.

There are many stories in Lovecraft, 8 books follow the central storyline. There are many other short stories also written by the writer ,the AP and stats in both short story and main continuity is widely different.

Love Thanos! He should've handled the stones differently in Endgame though. Create a fake version of yourself with the real one in a parallel reality, then destroy the stones. If an attacker ever came and killed him, it would've been a fake death, then he'd have all of the time he wanted.

@@xxvii9476 infinity works differently than what you think. everything is bound in dimensional scale, there are infinite dimensions, each higher dimension is infinite times greater. let's say something in the 3rd dimension is infinite. in the 4th dimension it's finite and it can even be 0. only 1 has infinite-unlimited-limitless, etc in the entire existence. the Omnipotent being. the Omnipotent isn't bound in dimensional scale since it's boundless so it can have infinite power. in fact it can have infinite x infinite power.

In the comic of Thor the Dark World which is most likely canon, Thor said that the reality stone would destroy all of the realms in World Tree. Even if you dont want to take that the reality stone in Thor The Dark World was stated to be able to cause infinite destruction. The Power stone destroyed the mirror dimension in IW.

The one thing about that makes Old Man Thanos lose points though is that he still went on his millions of years killing spree for Mistress Death. He became the most powerful being in the universe just to impress a girl that’ll never love him. And yet Young Thanos is still able to beat him.

I just want to be bring up a couple things.
(1) Even in the 70's -80's before his 1st death, Thanos was described by the Collector (an Elder of the universe) to be equal to them. This is important cause the Silver Surfer once said that the Elders were superior to him, and a couple of them (the Collector and the Grandmaster for sure and who are rivals to each other) are at or said to be close to the Watchers and while more powerful Galactus has been a hesitant on dealing with them. This was long before Infinity Gauntlet arc where it was stated a couple times that Death increased his power.
(2) Thanos helped free the Inbetweener. This took place before he 1st got all six infinity stones, and when he was going after the 1st stone (Soul). Inbetweener was far beyond the Elders of the universe, and once fought Galactus to a stand still, Inbetweener once in the early 2000's fought a Odin Force King Thor (this Thor scaring Hela, remade the moon, was said to destroy planets and stars by accident, fight Desak (who had killed and absorb thousands of Gods, and once Thor said that Bor could one shot him if he didn't have the Odin Force). Also the prison the Inbetweener was in was created by Lord Chaos and Master Order who are both shown in 14:41 to be above a normal Galactus and once even said this to Galactus.
(3) there's a point where during Thanos fight with Odin where he tries to trap Odin in the same thing that he used to trap a Warrior Maddness Power Stone Thor which Odin was able to break out of. Odin has once beaten Mephisto in his own realm (where he's at his most powerful). Mephisto who in his own realm once fought a hungry but resently eaten Galactus and gained a slight edge over him until Galactus threatened to eat Mephisto's realm forcing Mephisto to quit.

Cool bro! I collected most of those books in your video. You should also pick up Johnathan Hickman's book, (Infinity.) Thanos was looking for his son; Thane, but encountered Black Bolt instead. Thanos grabbed Black Bolt demanding where Thane is, but Black Bolt did his sonic scream point blank in Thanos's face, only cracking his armor. Black Bolt's sonic voice can level cities and when screaming, can blow up planets. Thanos just took it and choke slammed Black Bolt into the gravel, breaking part of the ground. Fast forwarding at the end of the book, Thane created a box around Thanos and took Thanos's powers away. You should also pick up the comic book series (Thanos Returns). Thane found out his father was free but powerless. Thane, also without power went to go finish off Thanos. But Thane knew a powerless Thanos is still dangerous and capable to inflict damage. So with the guide of Mistress Lady Death, he got the powers of the Phoenix Force. Meanwhile a weak Thanos was encountered by The entire Shi'ar Empire and was wrecking them until Gladiator flew down and knocked out a sickly Thanos. He and Shi'ar Empire locked Thanos up into their prison. However, Thanos managed to escape. Thanos with the help of his younger brother; Eros aka Starfox visited 3 witches through a Black Hole entered. He was there to seek the God Quarry to get his powers back. He had to pass some trial/test in order to receive his true form. After succeeding the test, he eventually cross paths with Thane and the fight between these 2 looked like some Dragon Ball Z fight, both flying around the galaxy breaking planets. Eventually, Phoenix Force Thane was defeated and the 3 witches blast Thane making the Phoenix flying off into space. But when I got to finally see him in live action, I was like where's his other powers? No teleportation, no flight, no telekinesis, no matter manipulation, no cosmic energy blasting abilities. At least he got a cool dual sword in End Game. He never had that in the comics.

It's like trying to explain the logic behind Spongebob's shenanigans. You can try, but it's pointless and meant for kicks and giggles. But by all means, please keep getting your panties in a twist, it's funny to me. Coming in here fan-girling over Thanos. Yeah, he's pretty powerful, and has a lot of plot armor, that's fantastic. But if you're going to be serious about one character, don't compare them to another character that's literally a joke.
