Today I bought a Citadel Warthog 12 Gauge semi-auto shotgun for $129.00 with a full set of chokes. These Turkish shotguns are really a good value for what you get.

11/20/2023 Ordered my new one from Buds. Total $277 with tax and insurance. Still a good deal to me. I wanted a 12 ga semiauto. I had a B grade Winchester many years ago and used it one time and sold it the same weekend. It just didnt feel right to me. I cant wait to get the new gun. I also have a question and I hope you can find this year old email and answer, or at least one or more viewers can answer this. I saw more than one video that said the gun comes with an improved cylinder bore choke. I have seen more than one video that said the gun comes with a cylinder bore choke. I would like to know which it is. Legacy's website says it comes with 3 choke tubes but does not specify which tubes.
Not a real big deal, but I want an Improved cylinder as well as a cylinder, plus an X-Full. an anyone say for sure? Thanks for the help. I may get the gun before the question is answered, but I am impatient...know what I mean?

These guns are rebranded. Very similar or exactly the same as some other Turkish shotguns. The other brands/models use to be around 350$. Even these are selling for $280-320 around me. I found a deal under $200 and it made it worth the gamble. I bought it as a loaner swamp gun and range blaster. So far it has been great for those purposes. It's a great value gun. Nothing amazing.

These are okay guns for the price $150-250 max is all they are worth in my opinion. I have one, I like it, I enjoy shooting it, but it can be picky with ammo. With 1300fps High brass shells mine has 100% reliable. Anything less well let's just say I don't trust my life with it in a SHTF situation. On the other hand, I do have a Turkish Hatfield security pump. I have nothing but positive things to say about that shotgun.

Figuring 30 bucks for 4 boxes of shells is pretty cheap. No shipping and handling charges...unless you add in lunch at the sandwich shop and a bottle of water to drink on the way home. I just bought 5 boxes of 1300+fps ammo online and the total was $66.00 I didnt even think about Wal Mart.
BTW, how hard is it to break down and thoroughly clean the beast? AND, did you give it a good swabbing down or do like I do, and spray some gun scrubber down the barrel and inside the receiver and call it good?🤨

Great post, so enjoyed the Bible Study at the end. I have the same shotgun. What choke do you recommend, that would make the gun cycle better?

Happy Yule friend. I try and avoid Turkish shotguns just because of the history of low quality control and unreliable metallurgy.

One thing I noticed after fooling around with this shotgun is the barrel is very thin in comparison to American shotguns I have; Not a good thing to know after your quality control and unreliable metallurgy comment there. Well it was cheap lol Hopefully it does not kill me.

well lemme tell you this i am a turkish guy and i use turkish shotguns for wild boar hunting for years and they never gave me an issue exept the bad shells releated problems, you have to understand that in this technology age all materials and the production technics are the same, you just overpaying for the name of the brand not for the quality of the firearm.
