i am still watching the video so it might be pointed out before the end, but i bought the same shotgun at probably the same time, price and place. PSA? I know mine came with a big red tag on it that said to use ammo with atleast 1300fps to function properly. i know many will say a firearm should cycle anything you put in it, and though I agree to a point, for the price and the fact that they tell you what you need to use run properly, as long as is does with it, im ok with it. i have only used winchester super x and have not had any problem yet. though iv only put 50 round through it.

We went through a couple different boxes of ammo and we came down to the conclusion that the ammunition lower than 1300 fps would cause the the shotgun to not function properly.

Manufacturer recommends break in period using 3" high brass 1300 fps rounds, then use strictly 1,200 fps three inch (high brass) rounds.

I have the citadel Boss Hog, it used to look like this, but I added a pistol grip stock and a mag extension so mine holds a total of 9 rounds.
    Okay, some very important instructions.
First, this gun comes with shipping grease, not function oil, so it needs to be taken apart, cleaned and lubed with function oil.
Second, after cleaning it, put it in your safe with the spring compressed until you are ready for the range.
Third, get ammo with no less than 1200 fps ammo, I purchased a 100 round box of federal game load, they are cheap($35), use this to break in your gun.
I have since fired hundreds of rounds and not one single failure and it still runs flawlessly.
Every video showing failures on youtube failed to do what I just described in this post..
This is a $150 semi auto shotgun, it does not come factory broken in nor ready to fire.
If you follow my instructions, you will have an excellent semi auto shotgun, mine will cycle 1150fps ammo.

I'm trusting you on this. One of the bigger gun YTers purposefully destroyed this gun but I highly doubt they bothered to set it up properly. I'll update this, if I ever remember to.

What I have seen others do on UA-cam with these shotguns is leave the action locked back for a week. Do a total break down of the gun and remove all the shipping grease. Lube everything up good. Then fire the shotgun and they seem to be rather reliable.

I don’t know what I love more. The burly beard, soothing voices, or the shotgun. It’s just beauty all around.

So I’ve seen other videos of these and about 95% of them mention to clean thoroughly. So clean out all the gunk from the factory and machining shreds. Then reoil thoroughly and put back together. Then do a break in periods of high velocity high brass ammunition. So 1300fps and higher. Almost all the people who do that say it functions great after a couple hundred rounds. Sounds tedious but it is a 200 dollar shotgun with some good potential.

The instructions that come with it state you should run 1300fps at minimum. Running 1165fps is going to get you jammed. Fiocchi hasn't run good through it on anyone's reviews.

Today I bought a Citadel Warthog 12 Gauge semi-auto shotgun for $129.00 with a full set of chokes. These Turkish shotguns are really a good value for what you get.

Manufacturer says to field strip and clean all the factory oil off the gun it creates friction, also 1300 FPS ammo is recommended for cycling correct and 50 round break in period. I own this gun and can’t wait to get to the range.

I have experience with low power 12ga shells jamming. Started reloading with a higher powder charge, found the sweet spot. That solved the jamming issue. And we dove hunted from that point on with no jamming issues. It was not the guns!

I have 2 Turkish semi-auto shotguns, one is called the Hatfield & the other is called the Boss Hog. Do the Turks think we are all Hillbillies over here in the States?

The instructions tells you to use at least 1300 ft pre second Ammo

The only cheap shotgun worth buying is the Mossberg Maverick 88 if you intend to use the gun for anything more than a range toy.
These Turkish trash cannons are unreliable. The companies even rebrand their weapons with new names and manufacturers when the reputation of their correct iteration gets too hard to sell.

Your using shells that are too slow. Must be 1300fps or faster .

These are hit and miss , find one sale is you best bet.
Some buddies and i got a total of three of the all brand new same gun store ,they were cheap the store wanted to move them out..
One of the boss hogs worked perfect with all ammo and no hiccups..
The other two had jaming and failer to eject...
So we polish the chamber and debured all sharp edges ,loading port on the reciever had some sharp edges and would cut your finger as you were loading.
Polish the shell tube and cycled it all week 100 times a day stored it with the bolt locked back for that week to try to weakin the spring a little .
We all showed up at the range the next weekend and did it again, and they ran like a top , no jams ,stove pipes stuck chambers or any Jammig at all
Great shotgun for a buck fifty cant beat it,
It just roughly put together at the factory to save money i can understand that ..
With a little simple tune up a debur and a good cleaning they run like a champ...the other buddy didnt have to do anything to his except clean it. He lucked out and they are still running good today
Also make sure you tighten up the end cap good..
    Cant complain
