I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of anyone doing such a thing to the Hellcat I always ever hear: pro charged, turbo charged, super charged. And honorable mention- meth injections (I’m against those for a variety of reasons but to each their own we’re all car guys here) Steph if you don’t mind my asking would you mind sharing the cost of such an amazing looking twin turbo system? You can give ball park figures if that’s better I just wanna have an idea of what if would cost just to go twin turbo instead.
Super chargers are great and I must say your blacked out jokers performance blower aesthetically looked amazing prob the dopest looking blower I’ve ever see lol. Great vid brotha, you KNOW we can’t wait to see what the pulls are looking like. That much power without sacrificing heat ( heat soak has always been the kryptonite for these hemi motors) I’m excited for it. Cody is a good salesman. There's no such thing as free power. Turbos cause backpressure and backpressure is parasitic. Now it won't be as drastic as a supercharger but the loss is around 8-10% whereas a supercharger is 12-15%. You will have to get used to how the power comes on differently because of lag but when it hits. Its going to hit like a freight train. How fast are you planning on spinning the engine 7,500rpms or higher? You will have to upgrade to some Mickey Thompson because you will be spinning hard. Glad to see you pushing your Hellcat as hard as possible.

@@tyr180plus9 me personally I would have gone centrifugal supercharger. Which a turbo is derived from. That way you have the same potential of a turbo and the instant response of a supercharger. Like I said, Cody was really trying to sell him on the turbos. Turbos generate just as much or more heat than a supercharger. If they didnt. You wouldn't need a intercooler to lower IAT's. Turbos are nice but I don't like the lag time. If I wanted loading time I would break out the Playstation 1. You are right about more pressure. Boost is going to be the enemy of that block. If Stef wants to really push it. 30+lbs is going to split the block. Stef said he has ARP stud for the heads. So I'm not worried about those lifting. I would have put some 2k hp connecting rods in the new motor with O’ringed head gaskets. That way when you got the money for more fuel and or methanol . You could turn it up .
1200 WHP on stock internals🤯 I wouldn’t even dare. But that’s cool man, I wasn’t a fan of TwinTurbo till I drove a stock 2021 PP Explorer ST(3.0L TT V6)and then a Kill tuned 2020 explore ST I’m a fan of the power delivery in low end torque and high end torque, From it being TT it pulls so hard off line with the new Ford smart AWD I recommend this car and the 2021 had massage seats😍😍 I love working for Roush

First for everyone. They are all superchargers. A turbo is a type of supercharger, roots, centrifugal are types of superchargers.
You can say they are all turbos of some sort, pressure is pressure.
Finally someone is going twin turbo. It's a smart move. It doesn't put that much stress on your drivetrain as a supercharger does. You can get more reliable power out of turbos as well, with no heat soaking.

Gonna be a cool build and can't wait to see it. On the other hand I like blowers over turbos (especially in muscle cars) the instant power right off idle and the sound of the blower whine. You will make more top end power with the turbo though and this will be a cool build for the channel. 👍

It depends on the turbo and how fast you can spool and get full power before the 6500 red line....i think the car is gonna feel very different without that instant torque down low. What compression you running?
It will feel very different. Most turbo cars get left on the dig at the track. They come on freight train strong a little before 100 to 150 ft. comparatively.
Good Luck on your twin turbo conversion. I noticed a big big among the Caddy CTS-V guys who have been dumping their superchargers setups (stock or otherwise) for twin turbos for their LSA motors. This trend is already huge among the German OEMs Mercedes-Benz and BMW for about the last 10 years when they want to make stupid horsepower. With those small turbos delivering peak torque at under 2000 RPMs.
I feel that is a great way to go. They have compound options out there, but going straight turbo, I believe is better.

Bout time, V8 twin turbo was always the magic recipe. Now the kitty will stop running out of steam in those races. If he has the right gears an shift's correctly, I can see the gaps already...... If he had an auto the car would be almost untouchable in constant boost like the 720, but he had to give an advantage some way I guess. He wont have to launch as hard either an just creep past people all the time like most turbo cars do when their in boost. This was the correct move. We the people approve of this choice

Have you considered switching to a standalone holly tuning set up? I think that would be your best bet for reaching your goals of 1500whp on the track and 1k on the street. Just what I would do .
