@@brandoncameracollection Yes before you put it up at your eBay store for sale, you said in your video that you will keep it because those are hard to find. I was lucky I found mine in my town for 80 bucks with a few tapes and chargers, I have other camcorders but it is so fun to record with the Panasonic DVX100.
@ThBreadMan it really depends on what kind of camera you are looking for. You can look at the Sony ccd-trv models like the trv62 or trv65. They are hi8 cameras but are usually very reliable and usually around $100. You don’t have to specifically go with those models there are a lot of different options for the trv hi8 cameras from Sony and most of them are very similar
@ThBreadMan well you’ll have to keep your eye out for one at good price but I definitely would look at the dvx100, the vx2100, Sony pd170. If you can handle the size of the camera you can look at a canon xl1,xl1s,xl2. I have also found some Panasonic dvc30’s at a good price too and those actually have night vision
I want one of these but they’re still to expensive for me. I saved your eBay store though! Could you try using the lomoinstant fisheye lens with normal cameras? And the other lens adapters they have too :o
Hey man! I recently came into possession of some Sony HDR-FX7 camcorders in great condition. Any advice on where/how to sell to get the best profit? They seem kinda obsolete in today’s camera landscape, so I thought I’d ask for advice
eBay is always the safest bet in my opinion. You can look up that model on there and see how much other people are selling it for then you can base your price off of the the condition of your camcorder
hey man I js got a vhs camcorder and from what I’ve seen you know your stuff, soo I was wondering if you know where to get battery chargers for the RCA batteries that slide in form top to bottom and not in and out
Yeah the hard part about the full size vhs cameras is they don’t make after market chargers. You’ll have to look on eBay to see if you can find one. You can find those rca batteries on batterykings.com but they are a little spendy
I have that camcorder and it is my favorite and I still use it . Great video, yes keep it a little longer .
Keep it a little longer?

@Mega7476 yeah it has such a good image too
lol i love that people are still buying these things because i literally have one of these and was looking for more videos about it.
Yeah I love this camera
Yeah an extra test video would be sick.
> I also did end up getting a canon xha1s off ebay lol. Excited to compare it with my dvx
Hey brandon I have been thinking about getting a camcorder to record interviews and b-roll what old camcorder would you suggest for $100?
You can usually find a canon gl1 or gl2 for a really good price
@@brandoncameracollection I'm having trouble finding a decent one is there another one you can suggest?
