The stock rear fender on the Yamaha Ténéré 700 can be bulky and hazardous while riding off-road. The Tusk Fender Eliminator Kit cleans up the bulk by removing the low hanging rear fender, relocating the license plate and centralizing the lighting. These changes provide a clean, practical solution to a bulky stock rear fender while giving your bike a more aggressive off-road presence to set it apart from the crowd. Did a New Year’s Eve tail tidy install. The video and directions were spot on and it made it easy. Got a little crossed up due to the yellow wires on the turn signals. 50/50 chance. And I was wrong the first time. Oh well. Looks great!ll.
Just installed. Easy and works well.
I'm gonna go ahead and recommend full strength thread locker. 1st, you're never taking this thing back off, and 2nd, mine just rattled itself loose and I had to ziptie it up to ride home. And I need some new Tusk blinkers because my rear tire destroyed them hahaha

Why do not design the fender eliminator kits to accept factory turn signals???
How have you found this tidy along the time? I have broken 2 aluminum ones, tired of fixing, how is this one? Has anyone tried for long? Which material is it?

@@Countolaf03 Congrats on your new bike, in my area there is more than a year long wait list and dealers are adding dealer markup because greed.
Too bad your video and instructions dont mention any yellow signal lines. And that's what came with my kit. Not blue and green.
My kit included wires from the Tusk supplied LED lights: black and yellow wires, no difference between left and right. It helps to keep track of which wires come from the left/right indicator before you install the unit; it then gets harder to trace. Just consider the black indicator wire ground and connect it with the black wire from the motorcycle.
