I bought mine when it was an inch long. 4 months later it's 3 inches now. The growth rate of these is very fast
Very fast!!
He has been with me for 3 months, but I don't feel much growth
He has been with me for 3 months, but I don't feel much growth
I had an LP about 15 years ago who was over 11” when she passed away. I have a picture somewhere with her next to a ruler. She gave me 4 egg sacks over the years.
Nice video. You've a nice, open, honest way of coming across to your viewers. It's really refreshing. Lovely T's!
Thank you Justin that’s such a lovely thing to say 😁🖤🕷
In my 1st 3 slings pack I bought LP was one of them.....deffo biggest of the 3.....great Beth.....species specific vids be great......
Okay thanks Simon I’ll do more 😁
They are beautiful
Thank you so much for this beautiful video! I just bought a teeny tiny sling, so it was nice seeing them in their different stages. 🤗❤️
Aw thank you so much Brandie 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I really enjoyed this video
I got a cute little L. Parahybana. Not even juvenile yet. But seeing the happy dance is still amazing. Can't wait for it to grow.
Will be a big beast one day 😊
@@BethanysSpiders about 5 years and mine is massive easy 8" and chunky
Well done Beth,. You always amaze me with your videos and outtakes you're a very talented beautiful lady a spider is gorgeous keep up the good work and thank you for sharing it
Thanks Alec ☺️
I just got a "slingish" LP about 2 months ago.
It is the first of my Ts that small that gave me a threat pose 😂.
I was taken back a bit, like wow this lil one has got a little spunk in it.
It's molted once and doubled in size.
I'm gonna probably be moving it after it's next molt which should be interesting and hopefully uneventful lbvs!
I can’t take the little ones seriously when they threat pose 😂
Long Story Short. I bought my girl when she was the size of $.25 coin "1 inch/25mm" They warned me over and over "large, very aggressive breed" They supplied lots of care sheets. I also found a Book about these Tarantulas, best part under diet it said "Everything including the kitchen sink" They grow very fast and LOVE to eat. Eating pinkies in no time. Custom tank 36X18X12 inch. LWH. She was 8 years old when she died, but that's different story. She was at least 5 inches across and the meanest B you could imagine. She never gave you a warning pose, she just attacked. two times while changing and cleaning her water bowl, faster than I could blink she ran 3 feet and jumped on my hand and did a front strike but never Fanged me. She would slowly climb off the back of my hand turn around and face my hand just to show me who's house it was, oh and she kicked her hairs like they were free. That said she was awesome. My wife told me she had nightmares about her getting free hehehe
And 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 I ❤️ the outtakes 👍🏾.
The F bomb was the cherry on top 😂🤣.
I just subbed, thanks for the video!
Hahahaha thank you so much 😂😂🖤🕷
Great!
Cool stuff, just got my first spider and it is, of course, an LP :D
I've 6 of these. My oldest one is looking fairly big, but not quite there yet. These were the first tarantulas I bought, was an LP
They are awesome tarantulas! ❤️
@@BethanysSpiders yes they are, but I'd agree with you to not breeding them, with the amount of babies they have.
I just got one few days ago! They are amazing
I have 3 LPs and I hold each of them every day so far. Had em for 6 months now.
That’s your choice but I personally wouldn’t. It puts you and the T’s in danger
Love your videos. You deserve way more subscribers
Thank you 😁🖤🕷
I love your videos,I love this species
Thank you 😁
They all seem pretty calm,my not bolty or spazzing ,I've never had a threat pose from any of my new world.except my avic avic
They can be hair kickers!
Great video as usual. Awesome close ups. Also, I get so excited for you every video because you get closer and closer to 1000 subscribers!!!!!
Thank you!!! Ahhhh so close now 😁😁😁
Nice
Awesome video Bethany! Great information
Thank you Alex 😊🕷🖤
Another quality vid and awesome camera work. I have 5cm sling at the mo, eats like a champ. Had a SA female in past that used to eat pinkie mice. Keep up the good work, best wishes, Andy.
Thanks Andy I’m glad you enjoyed it 😁
I enjoyed that video and watching the transformations from sling to adult spider 👍
I had to subscribe and see the number get closer to 1000
Thank you Johnny!! 😁😁
Awesome spiders great video
Thanks Angie 😁
Awesome stuff Beth 🙌
Thanks Corey 😊
Great video, I love my LP and it seems to double in size every time it molts. My sub adult is really docile at the moment but it is a molt or 2 behind yours.
Thank you! They are ace spiders aren’t they!
My LP is growing very slowly
Beth that was a really good video with some great info on a wonderful spider 👍 and look how your subs are flying nearly 1000 and everyone of them truly deserved well done girl ❤️👍
Thanks so much Dave 😁❤️ hopefully my channel will grow as big as yours 🤞🏼😊
@@BethanysSpiders Its going in the right direction 👍👍👍
Great video and beautiful T's, I've got 12 LP's and I can't wait to see them grow up😁
Thanks Steve 😊 got to love an LP
Awesome ❤️
Thank you 😁
My LB is called tiny. Allways out on show an fantastic eaters. 👍
🤣LP
They are great eaters!
STUNNING Ts I have a sub adult female and a small Juvie unsexed very under rated Ts too cant see why 4th largest Tarantula in the hobby I think
They are beautiful aren’t they!
@@BethanysSpiders sure are just love how chunky they get
They are so beautiful
So pretty!
Picking one of these with an n Incei and a nhandu chromatus tomorrow, super excited
I love your first theme song it’s really awesome
Thank you 😊
Loves seeing the different sizes. Would have loved a time comparison (how long you’ve had it, etc) and actual size comparison. LP is my next planned sling, and I’d like to be prepared for how soon I’d need housing upgrqdes.
Thanks Tina I’ll try to do something like that in another video for a different species 😊🕷🖤
Great Video. I just got my first LP sling. Look forward in watching him/her grow. Such a beautiful creature.
Thank you Vincent! That’s wicked, they get really big it’s amazing to see them grow that big from so small
@@BethanysSpiders I am experiencing that already. Only had LP for a few weeks and it's looking more and more gorgeous everyday. I started to see little tiny tiny hairs. Awwwww.
Awesome video. I think my next tarantula will be a Brazilian salmon pink. It was a toss up between it and the Avicularia purpurea. I think the salmon pink will be easier and quicker to raise.
Hi, I have just got my first salmon pink as a juvenile, it’s buried itself inside its hideaway as I think it’s about to molt, how long does this take? Many thanks for any advice, keep up the great work 👍🏻
Nice content. Just picked up a LP 2 weeks ago.
Thank you! 😁🕷
Mine moulted today. Think I'm going need a bigger boat. Do you think you send more on enclosures than actual tarantulas?
Both 😂😂😂😅😅
Mine eats like a monster and has grown like crazy but it's a threat posing prick.
That sling has a huuuge butt! 😂 I need to get one of these along with all the others I want 🙈
I'd love to see a T seladonia rehouse or care video please 🥰 and you should make a video of just your outtakes 😂😂
Proper little grape 🤣 there is already a T Seladonia rehouse and care video on my channel if you scroll back through my videos it wasn’t too long ago 😁🕷🖤
@@BethanysSpiders Thank you, I'll have a look now 😁
I've got a baby one and I'm shocked how small they are lol 😂 then how BIG
I have come over from Dave's Little Beasties, I don't own a spider but love watching videos about them.Thank you for the great video👍
Thank you for watching Maria!! 😁🕷🖤
Love your content .. was surprised with having to pay to subscribe. 😮
What do you mean pay to subscribe. UA-cam is free? And I haven’t made a video on this channel for 2 years..
What is the normal growth rate for sling ?
I hope to see more of ur recordings. You are already missed.
Hi Beth. Love the videos. They are great. I have just got into the hobby and started with an LP. Had him/her from the spider shop as a Juvenile 6-8cm. Only had it a month and it’s now closed off it’s burrow. Did you experience this? If so how long should I expect to not see him/her for.
Thank you I’m so glad you’re enjoying my videos! Yes don’t worry it’s probably in pre moult or moulting. You may not see it for up to 6 weeks but don’t panic, it will come back out when it’s done and it’s hungry ☺️
Thank you Beth. I’m already looking at other Ts that I want, I think it’s going to be an addictive hobby.
Also thank you for the heads up on the tarantula room enclosures. I have been looking for a nice enclosure for a while.
1 last question. Should I wait until he/she is a bigger size before making a bio active enclosure? (Ps also thanks for the video on the bio actives. It’s the most informative I’ve seen yet).
@@nicwil90 yes it’s a very addictive hobby 🤣 the tarantula room enclosures are one of the best! Yes I’d wait until the T is bigger before doing a bio active enclosure. Daves little beasties does great bio actives too check out his channel if you haven’t already ☺️
@@BethanysSpiders thank you again for you help. 😊
when they are young what do they eat and when they grow up and how much please answer
Anything about half of their size 😊
@@BethanysSpiders thanks!
When your video kicked in from your early commentary the audio was so uneven that it blasted my speakers.
So your commentary was so low I had to turn the volume up a LOT. Then when your musical lot kicked in that was at normal volume so it blasted my speakers.
This all can be fixed if you take a second & PROPERLY EQUALIZE your video. This ensures that the volumes of your clips are all of the same volume levels.
I just got a salmon pink bird eater but I can't even watch this video because your volumes are all over the place blasting, then to quiet when you speak, then blasting, then too quiet.
I rehoused my big adult female Lp awhile ago. She kicked hair and had webbing full of her type 3 urticating hairs. I had hair stuck in my face, neck and the bends of my arms. I was absolutely miserable. Nothing stops the burning and itching. I even ate a hand full of benadryl. I was suffering the entire day. I even still itched some the following day.
Ouch!!!
3:41 ?
I've had mine for nearly 2 months amd it hasn't molted yet any advice?
Just be patient ☺️
I have had them. I had a huge female, and it was sn absolute nightmare to go in when she kicked the tank full of hairs. I had to sell het cos i was reacting badly to those hairs. Nice spiders though. I keep Phormictopus thoug, but those never kick hairs. Just strikes, but i prefer that🙂
Yeah they can be bad for their hair kicking!!
My two LP didn't grow fast as everyone says. They are one of my slowest growing species tbh
They will get there!
My Lp is a big juvey & isnt a fast grower either. She moults every 4 months.
My Brachypelma Boehmei grows quicker lol xx
