I have all of my T's in bigger than traditional bio enclosures that I build & design myself including background. To ME this is 1 of my many favorite parts of even keeping tarantulas! Each T enclosure has it's own "theme" I'm currently slowly working on my newest additions enclosure. I just acquired a juvenile Lasiodora parahybana who is chilling in a temp enclosure while she matures & I get the bio part of her bio enclosure established. Just FYI... I have also used expanding foam to build up the details & I have NOT taken off the shiny bits b4 using my aquarium silicone to push substrate into & they've held up just fine, but I will try this next time... just to see if there's a difference. Either way I agree with u, it's a lot more fun doing everything yourself for a beautiful unique enclosure the finished project is always more than worth the work to make them & w a great imagination... the sky is the limit!!! Very rewarding!
😂😂😂 I had my burning terrarium last year 😂😂😂 Also cause of those fck foam. The whole background was on fire...i grabbed the burning terrarium and screamed to my Wife "Open the balcony door !" And i jumped out with the Hellfire in my Hands. The End of this Evening... Less Beard...less eyebrows and less Hairs 😂 I'm so glad that i have found your video😂I immediately showed it to my wife..... she is still laughing😂
Mine ripped up his moss and plants. He seems to enjoy alternating between filling in his hides and then digging them out again. The enclosure doesn't look as nice now but he seems to enjoy having some enrichment.
I think, Bitsy (like the itsy bitsy spider) is a cute name. I like Fluffy for a name too. You have so much patience, building these enclosures. I'm learning alot from you...thank you ☺️
Im planning on adding one of these to my collection of animals and if i get a juive will he/she still need exo terra or can i use a simple terrestrial setup
I like the video, but I'm a bit puzzled...if you are so careful about avoiding chemical fertilizers and dog urine, why are you fine with using chemicals like glue and expanding foam all around the spider?

All the products used are tested as animal safe. We don't know what insecticides are on materials from outside
