I tried inlines this year when the rinks closed, and wondered why ice skate makers don’t adopt an inline style boot. You get a stiff skate at low cost, with high comfort due to the padding. I think the reason is that they are designed for hockey, and have to be light and durable. Inline boots are heavy and fragile. You’re wrong that inline boots are stiffer than hockey skate boots. You’ve obviously not seen carbon fibre hockey skates. Mine are much stiffer than my Powerslide Zoom Pro 100 and Rollerblade RB110 boots. More stiffness means more ice feel.
I like ice hockey skates better because the boot is stronger and doesn't bend around like a normal ice skate. Plus I have a bias because Im a hockey player 😅
Hey Thisissoul I've been on your websites and have sent you a message about the groundcontrol ice blade. I can't find them anywhere lol I bought my rollerblade skates in beginning of the year because of this video and want to christen them in the ice. I love what you guys do! Let me know if you can help me get a pair of ice blades.👍👍
Hello, I'd like to buy these from your shop as you have really good price and shipping in my country. But can you please tell me, what is the dimensions of this ice frame from heel to toe? I heard these come in one size and I don't know if they will be a good fit for me. Thanks.
Hi, Which is the right ice blade (hockey or similar profile) designed for ROCES 5TH ELEMENT UFS YUTO GOTO AGGRESSIVE INLINE SKATES COMPLETE - KEMURI GRAY Thanks..
I consider using Ground Control - UFS Ice Blade alongside some USD Carbon 2 boots. I won't be doing grinds in the rink (I'll be working there). Do I need to use the Soulplates, or am I able to simply screw the ice blade on the Carbon 2 boot? I'm worried that the soulplate will interfere when I'm sliding and leaning sideways. outside of that, it seems like unnecessary bulk/weight.
The Ground Control UFS Hockey ice blade wil fit very easily with 2 bolts only www.thisissoul.com/aggressive-ice-skates.html but you can also take the soulplate off and mount a blade like this if you are willing to put in some work www.thisissoul.com/freestyle-ice-skates/roces-throne-cult-hockeyblade-15550.html
Appreciate your vid, but you a bit wrong about the fact freestyle ice skate should be stiff, because the truth is actually exactly the opposite. Check out my channel and you will see.
5:00 Oh, that's a USD Carbon with an ice blade in the so-called "fakie configuration" 😄
haha
That adidas jacket is the wave!! Soo nice. Keep it up.
whaa thanks man!
Ok you have sold me! Going to get a pair now.
That is cool man! make sure to send us a photo so that we can put it up on aggressiveiceskating.com
Wish i had these in 2010 when I first and last went ice skating!
We have been searching for a good solution for years and are so happy that it is now here!
hahaha +1 !
It’s winter again
Love it! New era for aggressive skates :)
Thanks!
Still have them and LOVE THEM to bits :D 10/10 :D

i think the guy in the Roces put his blades on backwards !!

Why there is no H block in aggressive ice skating? it is possible to make do it...

I'd say the bails are bad

Hi Chris, sounds like a fin n job! You will be able to mount them directly on the boot. The soulplate is not needed
@@Thisissoul awww perfect, thank's for the feedback
minute4:34. I do not see the UFS compatible blade on your website. I would like to find a compatible model for the them 908. Thanks
thanks for the heads up! i just put it back online for you
www.thisissoul.com/skateparts/frames/frame-type/ice-frame.html
The GC frames are wayyy too short. They need to be longer for all size boots
100% agree
Woah
The most aggressive skating I do is tag and jumping cones😂
I know this is an older video, but would any of these work for the impala inline skates?
For sure! send me an email to skateshop@thisissoul.nl and i will explain the options for you.
Is it possible to get an ufs blade with h block?
I use Aeons, so if I get them I’ll throw them on the old razors
What about Razors????!!!!
i should get ice frames for my rollerblade dt5
Thoughts on the UFS ice frames on xsjados?
do it!
propably not the best boot for it, but if it is all you got then go for it
Which size boot is the GC ice frame ideal for?
Probably 41-42. It can fit all ufs boots but a size bigger for large feet would have been nice
What blade works on the Them 908?
The Ground Control UFS Hockey ice blade wil fit very easily with 2 bolts only

What about USD Skates????!!!!
They fit razors Genesys
Yes, we have an UFS ice blade that will fit the Razors Genesys
y wouldnt u just get hockey skates? i did this 20 yrs ago lol they need to to put rails and shit on the rampage downhill lol
Not felling this at all
