wtf bro 🤣
Haha I saw this cumming
Every little bit of knowledge helps us beginners.
One of the fun things about edging…
First time edging on skates changed my life 🗣️😫💯🙏🏼🔥
So good! So useful! The edges and sliding separate yet so intertwined. Brilliant.Thank you. And the bonus were the babies on a string at the end. 😍
Started skating a week ago....
Your videos are really helpful...
So glad I found your channel
good to hear!
Thanks for the tips
No problem!
Im edging rn
It was weird that NOBODY had made the joke in the comments until you did xD
Been skating for well over two years now and recently started learning wizard skating. These videos have shown me I've been missing a few fundamentals I was supposed to learn years ago but never did.
glad you learned something!
Very useful! 🤩
Really appreciate the information. I kinda wish this video was available when I was still learning.
Started skating this month and this is basically exactly what I need. Bedankt! Grüße aus Deutschland.
cool! dont miss out on the other skating tutorials on our channel
Great tutorial on "ATCHINK"! Very profound. The part wth the fontain was awesome!
thanks.
what is ATCHINK?
@@Thisissoul I'm kidding, i've just transcripted how your pronunciation of "edging" sounds for me :)
@@NikZvi aah ok haha. Sorry for the bad accent :)
I used to have skate lessons with you
Lol love how he greets other skaters
Maybe one day!

Grazie! Grazie! I tuoi consigli su come piegare i pattini e le ginocchia per curvare mi sono stati veramente utili. Ho fatto le mie prime curve grazie e questo bellissimo video...... Continuo a seguire le lezioni Grazie
Thank you so much for the explanation about edging and the exercises, will try them out 😊
Thank you so much. This is very well explained.
Love this videos
Very helpful 😉👍🏼
This is a great video. What I find most difficult is applying lots of outside edge going downhill at higher speeds. If I don’t focus on it I tend to go on the center edge and trip myself up. Thank you for sharing bud!
good luck practicing those outer egdes edgar!
really good upload - thank you!
Greetings from 🇸🇬! Can you do a video on how frame alignment is properly done for the intermediate skater? And also how it affects the edging? Great videos! Helped me a lot. Thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼
the short answer is: dont worry about it, just have your frame alignment in the center.
We will do a video about frame alignment someday though
Thanks mate
I needed this🎉🎉💯💯
This was the most helpful video I have found on edging/turning. It’s been raining all week here and I can’t wait to get out tomorrow and start practicing using your tips. Also, wherever you live looks absolutely beautiful and perfect for skating!
good luck practicing Myham!
I love your channel. Best inline skating channel on YT ❤️
thank you Im spade!
What about gooning on inline skates?
6:26 I'm dying here laughing at the guy looking back over his shoulder
🤣🤣🤣
And the babies mesmerized at the end! 😂
interesting video, basically slow mo of each type of skills and self experiments => learn it forever
They're doing what on blades?
How are the fit of the powerslide pro 80 vs Frx do you know ?
nice . thk bro
Leerzaam weer Ik gebruik sommige voorbeelden uit je filmpjes zelfs voor jeugdlessen schaatsen, thanks!
nice!
You would think that grinding would be counter-intuitive in the midst of edging. You might ruin your edge streak.
I already do all of what you are saying and I still watch your video, that's how good it is. Edit: Could you do a video on backwards crossovers and the magic slide? Also backwards falling technique, I am trying to get more confident right now doing these things.
I think he said during the mermaid technique video that the best way to fall backwards it to fall sideways, so if you're falling backwards, you twist to fall sideways instead by keeping your hands together and twisting your shoulders as well. It's like halfway into that video, definitely check it out.
@@flyawayjay790 In my mind that's going to turn into a really bad spin, most skaters I watch roll over their shoulder when falling, but I'm not sure that's the best way
@@MrMokey24 You'd have to watch him doing it, I'm not sure I'm explaining it correctly.
correct! very well said Jay@@flyawayjay790
falling backwards is explained in this video about the mirmaid technique

This guy really knows how to edge. 😂
Can you please make training video on how to control the speed when skating backwards, which includes slowing down and stop when skating backwards on inline skates. I see lots of backwards skating on quad skates that has toe stop to help with the slowing down and stop, but nothing on inline skates. I skate outdoor without the brake on my inline skates and I want to know different ways on how to control the speed safely. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
is it Endless frames with 4x100mm? I am enjoying Endless 90 with both 4x90 and 3x110, but really considering 4x100 for next setup
its got to be the NN trinity 90 ninja frame..
Can you put uk and euro sizes on the website please because I need a size 7 uk and I need to know the conversion of euro and uk sizes!!
Why do my fr2 80s feel like my anckles are being pushed outwards, like it feels lile i have to apply way to much pressure to get my wheels centered
Duidelijk en leuke uitleg. Ook voor de iets oudere herintreder! 😂
goedzo mariska, succes!
What are the skates you are wearing
I just started learning how to skate within this past week, got a pair of Inline skates. Skating is quite the work out and I'm using a lot of muscles in my legs and feet I don't normally put to the test. Also I've been flat footed all my life and I've read that it can be more challenging and painful for those with flat feet to learn how to skate. I was thinking of getting some insoles for my blades but from what I've read and watched it seems 50/50 on whether or not they would even help. Any advice?
I want to know the answer to this question too! It really does hurt. I tried putting in an insole and I'm focusing on fixing my over-pronated walk. Have you found anything useful? 😢
If you pronate, find a skate that allows for lateral adjustment. This way you get to position your skate in the most ideal position for your pronating feet. As for flat, get suitable insoles or even better, get fitted by a skate specialist.

The Superfeet insoles are great for antipronation. every skater should have one in their skates
Can I do these with both the 72 aeons and the Frx 80’s which boot is easier
the frx would be easier
What are the boots you wore in this video?

May I ask what frame you are using?
looks like the NN trinity 90 ninja
0:06 so theres a NSFW version too ? 🤣🤣
HELP: I'm brand new to skating, have basically nowhere to practice but I am dedicated to learn anyway. I'm trying to learn the parallel turn, but when I scissor my skates I naturally want to turn the opposite way, and edging my skates to the direction of the turn just throws my balance and I can't feel where to place my pressure. My feet always come back next to each other, breaking the scissor, and I go into an A frame turn.
you have to use/tighten your musles more during those techniques to make your foot do what you want them to do instead of them controlling the movement.
I've been struggling with this for a month but I'm starting to get it. Here is are a few things I've noticed
1) The basic mechanics of turning is similar to A-frame turn. You need pressure on your outside foot as you edge. But the parallel turn posture allows for a much sharper turn
2) Bending your knees and squatting down is really crucial. You need a wider range of movement to control your lean
3) Scissoring problem. If your skates are like mine, there's a hinge just above the ankle that let's you bend the upper part forward but not backward. Scissoring by pushing a lead foot forward simply straighten my inside leg. It became very awkward to keep it forward and end up being an A-frame turn. For some reason, I tried scissoring by squating on my inside leg, pushing the outside foot backward, and all of it just clicked. My inside leg is forward and bent; outside leg is backward, some what straighten, and has more pressure, which causes the turn. I even manage to make consecutive left and right turns as in a slalom
4) As with other skilled activities such as shifting gears, sailing a boat, etc., you don't really follow a check list of motions as a list of step. You're edging, scissoring, and twisting your torso in one smooth motion.
I'm more about ageing on inline skates
Ivo's not been rotating his wheels often enough ;)
Skate scholars 🫡🎓
not the kind of edging i was thinking about
Its been 10 months and still no "Mewing on inline skates"
