its great to see so many ol' schoolers coming back to aggressive skating! I am 36 and tomorrow is my first date in a skatepark after like 20y break lol
so now I'm here... I will always remember that one day i spent with a friend in the skatepark. I was about 12-14 Years old and there were other cool kids with aggressive skates. They were skating and jumping like cranzy and we wanted to try it to. Of course i climed up the half pipe and stood there stuck and not quite sure what to do... One oft the other kids come over and said: If i ride backwards down, you go forward. Of course I agreed. And yes, this dude rode down backwards. I stood there, not really shure what i say and what i should think, but one thing was shure: There is no coming back after our agreement. They gave me some tips i don't remember but the last one was the one that counts: Lean forward, bend your knees and everything will be fine... So i stood there, put all my courage into this, bent my knees, and got all the air punched out of my lungs as i slammt backwards on the floor. The only thing that escaped my mouth was a painfull aaaahhhh... I couldn't scream, my lung were empty, only a quiet painful aaahhhhh as soon as i opend my mouth. Well, we went home that day.
heheh that intro killed me ahahaha. ive seen that happen soo many times, but i also started when i was about 7 and not to brag but a natural on blades. took the biggest vert in europe at the time i was 9 with big airs and more. was one of the first 10 year old that had sponsors like roces and streetmachine etc. even airwalk gave me clothes. soo ive seen alot of falls during my years. and i can say this is an awesome intro video into vert skating. right on mate and keep up the awesome work and content.
This is really helpful, would you suggest changing anything fir teaching my daughter. I am and experienced skater and she is 8. P.s. love the overly romantic music 😍
Thank you for this. I always wanted to "sit-in" but did not know how to properly move my body. I use roller skates instead of inline but seems to me that the skils are transferable.
Yeah it is basically the same movement, BUT on quad skates you have your feet in front of each other because most quad skates dont have a long wheel base. to counter this you need the stability from having your feet in front of each other. This is a disadvantage though, because it is allot more easy to squat when you have your feet side by side.
She didn't talk very much...or at all. But she sounds American to me. Didn't detect any Dutch accent. Really need her to talk more or say a sentence to tell for sure.
Is it much more difficult to drop in with a banana rocker setup? I've only dropped in with a flat setup but I want to try dropping in with a rockerd frame
I have a question, please. People say, you must go down the pipe with une foot forward the other. But I see in the video that is not necesary and you can do it whit both at the same time, I do it in this way. Qué forma es la más segura o correcta?
I did it for the first time in quarter pipe, I fell and it was bad, and hurt my neck too, I don’t know how, I can do it in sloppy but can’t drop in in quarter pipe
Great. Lovelly you to. But quick questions where your beautiful girlfriend got helmet? Forgot ? Should have it especially when she tries agressive skating.
No you don't need to learn to slide on your knees or side, this is some BS. But look, if you can't stop yourself either on your feet or ditching, then you shouldn't be dropping in to ramps, so I guess that's fine to teach. 1. Get used to rolling on ramps before dropping in. 2. Start on small transitions, work your way up. 3. It's much easier/more stable if you have one foot slightly in-front of the other, generally weaker foot slight in-front. You are better off kinda of stepping into it as opposed to the technique taught in this video.

she's doing pretty well :) It's harder to stand on wheels 72 / 80mm
on wheels -> 55 to 60 mm + it's easier;)
Niceeee bro
Lovely couple ❤ God Bless
Excellent tips. She's very pretty BTW 😉
Thanks!
Bro I'd drop into a woodchipper for a girlfriend like that. Dutch girls have the best personalities. Great channel. 👊👍

are you guys from the netherlands by coincidence? i recognize that accent lol
step 1 : get myself a girlfriend
The best way to drop in is just to ride in... sounds kinda sketchy but its the truth. When u ride in u cant go back and u have to commit.
I did it for the first time in quarter pipe, I fell and it was bad, and hurt my neck too, I don’t know how, I can do it in sloppy but can’t drop in in quarter pipe
