Hello Diane! I love your patterns; what brand and model is your iron, please? I might get especially since it seems to be a fantastic steamer and cordless, too!
Mine turned out rather well. I noticed that pattern piece E for the gussets indicated outer fabric, but you used the lining. I had a devil of a time with that zipper technique!
Hi, yes outer fabric is fine if you are using quilting cottons and similar, but if you are using a heavierweight cork, vinyl etc, I mention in the notes to stick with lining or quilt cottons for the gussets themselves to keep the bulk down. So glad you were pleased with your wallet :)
Hello😊 thanks for your great video and pattern. I haven't got decovil heavy or pellon f71, can i use decovil light instead?? Until i get decovil heavy 😊
I tell you as I go through Quentin. Mainly just a regular foot, sometimes a walking foot or zipper foot. But you don't need every foot to be able to make it x
@@vickibennett6579 I'm not sure which clips - can you tell me a time in this video that I use them and I should be able to let you know what they are Vicki
I’m just to start this wallet with option of panelled body - cork sides with quilting fabric for middle panel - just wondering which interlining to use when put together as I will have a mix of cork panels with fabric in the middle? I have decovil heavy but thought it might be too heavy because of the cork. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
Try Decovil Light for the whole panel Janette, or if you only have the heavy, just use it on the fabric centre piece - fuse on after piecing together so you are not adding double layers into the seams
Hi! Soo I purchased this pattern and love it!!! I'm in the middle of making it now but I'm going to make it with the panelled body. For the wrist strap, I'm all set with the strap part but for piece K I'm lost. For some reason I can't find anywhere where there's either a pattern K Piece to cut out or any mention of what size it needs to be. So I'm stuck at that part. Any help would be greatly appreciated on where to find the K Piece in the pattern or the size of it. Thank you for any help with this
Ok after the TENTH time reading through the whole pattern I found where it says the size for the strap carrier (K)... Thank you soooooooooo much for this pattern. It is my new favorite and can't wait to make a ton more of them!!!!!
I am based in the UK and my patterns are only offered and sold in the English language I'm afraid. You can switch on UA-cam translated subtitles tin your chosen language

Yes you can! 2 layers of Decovil Light are equivalent to Decovil Heavy :)
❤❤❤
Oops, just found it in the description box...
Please explain what sewing machine feet you work with in this video. Can't wait to start tomorrow!

Question??? Looking for those neat clips with the rounded paddle on the end where it grasps the fabric!!! US doesn’t seem to have them???
Do you mean these: Wonderclips/sewing clips:
US link: amzn.to/3UMtIIU
No but similar…. Plastic but rounded at the bottom, rather than squares.
“Magic shopping bag “ video and most of her others too.

Thank you I have my pattern and fabric ready to cut it out. Can you tell me what size needle you are using?
It depends on the fabric you use really. 14 or 16 normally
Thank you .I will be using quilting cotton
