Instant Loc Update| 2 Year Locaversary|

Holaaaaaaaa !! Its been QUITE some time but you know how I do! Its been TWO WHOLE YEARS and low key THEN SOME since I first loc'd my hair and a little over a year since I posted a video! I thought about starting over but the more i think about it…. I concluded that One day, im gonna comb my hair out and let it be loose for a while before i decide to loc it again. I Just don’t know when because i love my hair 😫

i have instant locs over a year and they still stiff what can i do

@@shackeelmcgann4224 honestly, I was spraying my hair with water almost everyday (not saturating it though) when i first started out as well as oiling my scalp on a regular so i think that definitely contributed to it not being so stiff (being moisturized)

It seems like all the folks who use oils get a lot of buildup. Everyone with locs get debris from the air etc. However, oil makes the debris stick and not fall out. I don’t use it anymore. I just use a little grease on my scalp only after washing, until the next wash. Try not to add too much tension through styling.🤷🏽‍♀️👍🏾

Oohhhh!!! These the comments i like!! What grease do you normally use? I’ve been so hooked on oils for years. Idek the last time i bought grease for my hair!😫

@@BMac828 Kuza - Indian Hemp, light or regular sulfur 8, pine tar if you have dandruff or itchy scalp; any light or regular grease that moms used to use on your hair when you were a child. I don’t know when black folks started thinking liquid oils were good on hair and scalp. Also, I don’t believe in so much moisture talk. All locs need is to be clean and dry, to be healthy. The things that folks are doing today have led to excessive itching, dryness and crazy habits in my opinion. Ex: constant ACV soaking/ rinsing.
