I want to say this as a new Mavic Air 2 owner who bought the Fly More Combo. This video was IMMENSELY helpful. I didn't know how to store the propellers without constantly taking it off the drone every time I packed it and was skeptical on putting my extra propellers in the bag at all. This helped me drop those fears and everything fits just fine. Big thank you for this simple yet helpful video, like seriously.
I just got the DJI air 2s fly more combo, and I was struggling to figure out how to fit everything in the bag after I unboxed and set everything up. I was thinking in my head "there's no way that someone would make a video as specific as how to pack a mavic air 2/air 2s bag" but after finding this, I just want to say this video was SO helpful! really appreciate the tips 🙌

Mannnnn I am so thankful for this video! I just got the Air 2S fly more combo and was getting so frustrated trying to make everything fit back in it again for trips. Thanks for sharing!
I know this is older but I was looking for a video like this and it delivered and watching Oz was like watching one of my buds explain it to me and it made the most sense. Thanks. bro. Good Video, I'll be checking out your other (and newer, lol) video's.
Hey Sean thanks for sharing i finally got my mavic air 2 combo and your video makes sense how to pack . I got confused in trying to pack mine without your help thanks
Sean !!! Your timing couldn't get any better !!! Just unboxed my Mavic Air 2 Today !!! I think I'll try packing mine up your way !!! It's pouring so I guess I'll try it out inside first !!! 👍🏻
I just got a new MA2, and the bag is slightly different. On the top zippered section, there's stitching that looks like the ND filters would be perfectly at home on the left side, but it ends up butting right up against the drone and makes the closing of it excessively tight.
Great job in packing that bag, I usually don't take all my gear with me when I go out for a flight, I leave all the charging cords at home. This is the first time I have ever ordered the flymore kit for a Mavic, and I didn't realize they always included a car charger. My only flymore kit before the MA2 was the Spark, which didn't include a car charger. And I agree with you that I don't like the way the top open on the case. Nice video, stay safe and have a good Memorial Day.
Great video! You are clearly better at Tetris than I am! Only thing is this: I actually like the way the bag opens only because if you are wearing your bag like a sling around your body, it will open away from your body and not into it. At first I was confused by that, but now I actually prefer it! Helps keep anything (dirt, etc) that might have kicked up suddenly from blowing in as well. Now I’m off to repack my bag! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful. I still hate the hinge. I can flip the bag around so it opens away from me no matter what side the hinge is on. Thanks also for taking the time to leave a comment.
Its enough for me. If you run it over with a car its going to get damaged or throw it around like a football its gonna get damaged. If you treat it nice it will be fine though.
@@SeanOzz it definitely is a little cumbersome, probably would have been better if they just made it flat across the top. I guess they went for form over function.
@@SeanOzz same, bad flap design, and I'm just not into bags. Harbor freight has a good case I used and sold with my original Air. Foam tears after a while, but no biggie. May splurge for a gpc, but i dunno...
Yeah man, they had em on sale for 43 bucks so I grabbed one today. A bit large at 20" x 15", so I put my MA2 flymore with all accessories, digital camera with extras, and my osmo mobile 3 with mini tripod and an older smartphone...still room for a bit more!
I recently purchased the MA2 after getting the mini and flying it twice. I knew I wanted more. Ha. However, I purchased the fly more combo for both, and I was worried about how much bigger the case was going to be for the MA2 than the mini, specifically for travel purposes. I was very surprised to see that the difference in size and shape is completely negligible because of the way the MA2 packs up and the mini stores everything laid flat and spread out. Definitely worth it to have the MA2 IMO. Do you think there’s any harm in leaving the 3rd battery in the drone for storage long term? My bag has been a little fat, because before I watched this I was putting all three batteries in the battery section and the charger where you put your extra props. Definitely like how yours is a bit flatter with no protrusions.

The reason for choosing that way to open the bag could be that when you're having hang the bag upon your sholder when opening. Then this would be the sense-full way.
The bag opens in that direction so that when your carrying it like a messenger bag with the strap it doesn't dump the contents when you open it. Very clever design. Thanks for the video. Your way of packing it makes the most sense.
Trust me. Even if it opened on the top so we would have proper access to everything and somehow you decided to open it while it was strapped on it would not dump the contents. Not even close to dumping contents if done the other way.
@@SeanOzz That is why they have it opening that way. Away from your body. The strap was put on the side closest to body and at an angle so that it sits level when opened while using the shoulder strap. There is a method to the madness.

is it ok to store the 3rd battery long term in the drone itself?
Yep. Just turn it off.
Seems an odd thing to want to know and here you are and here it is - I appreciate the video - great job and keep up the good work 😁👍
ha ha, i agree but from doing one with the original pro, and the zoom, they seem to help others and that's what it is all about!
That's a really compact bag! DJI needs to consult you for design checking.
Tetris champion. Lol
Aweseme dude, helps a lot!
Glad it helped!
Is it safe to store the batter inside the aircraft ?
Yes
What if I also bought the prop guards? how do I pack those along with this very compact bag?
Not sure as I do not own those to try.
Will they slide into the side?
I honestly don't think they'd fit unless you left out the charger and/or extra batteries.
Great review, the hinge doesn’t bother me so I am very happy 🤩🤩🤩👍🏻
I feel it was an oversite but its still a pretty good bag.
Sean Ozz I would of like 2 small compartments for the spare batteries rather than have them clunking together, I will buy 2 bags though from eBay
That would have been a nice addition also.
Nice bag
Thank you 😊
Will it matter if I put the drone upside down in the bag instead?
No
Would u upgrade to a better case
I do not plan on it. This case is pretty good even though it opens funny.
Does it give the drone enough protection or would a hard case be better in ur option m8
Its enough for me. If you run it over with a car its going to get damaged or throw it around like a football its gonna get damaged.
If you treat it nice it will be fine though.
why doesn't dji introduce a hard case like for mavic mini, feels durable than soft bag
I think they keep it small as possible so its more portable. It works great.
I believe the zipper/flap is backwards because if your wearing the bag it allows access to the interior easier. Just a guess.
for me when wearing it it would be easier if the hinge allowed it to open easier. but i manage either way.
@@SeanOzz it definitely is a little cumbersome, probably would have been better if they just made it flat across the top. I guess they went for form over function.
