I know because Dustin told us he has. The guy was trying to ride Dustin's coat tails, and the guy hardly ever flies he just talks about them.
My first thought would be they have a connection with Dji dealers. Since the dealer would have some stock waiting for release day they may have sent some early to promote their store possibly under DJI's radar.. not sure but it makes sense. I've heard DJI is very picky on who they choose to give samples to directly and they are usually the ones that are larger more promotional channels.

By far the best unboxing video I've seen so far. Don't forget to cycle the other two batteries just in case there was a battery firmware update. Looking forward to your infamous range test 👍

The ND filters are good for video to set your shutter speed to 1/2x the framerate for a more cinematic look with the natural motion blur! Great video as always!

Still today this drone is incredible!! Some of the new features like cruise control are awesome, but this is truly a solid drone. And I agree with you, it is the 2 Pro just shrunk down

I've literally waited for this series since before the drone was released. You're pretty much the reason i've taken an interest in drones, I just happened to come across your Mavic Mini review, and after that I was looking to buy one, but rumors said the Air 2 was coming, which I purchased and got delivered on launchday. I want to see you push this thing to the limit with a brutal range test! Easily best reviewer of drones on the interwebs.
Another awesome video. Hows are you and ohana doing ? Good I hope. That air sense will come in handy in places I fly. Especially when I am visiting my home in Hilo . Tons of tourist helicopters in the flight path by my uncles house and they tend to fly below 400 feet often.
Very comprehensive review and instructional video-DJI should send you promo drones just because your instructional walk through reduces their customer service calls by 50% because you answer questions before they are even asked and you are so detail oriented. You have a real talent for this kind of teaching-thanks for taking the time to educate us!!
WOW! one of the best I've watched and I've flown my Mavic Air 2 a number of times, crashed it a few times but, seriously, this is a great vid I wish I had watched sooner. I did get a longer USB-C to Lighting cable to use my iPad for connecting to the controller on my external mount. Great vid! :)

I have an Apple Mini and an MavMount 4.0 iPad Adapter on the way and want to set up on the Mavic Magic Air 2. I can see from your Part 1 video a problem I didn't think of, cable length. Do you know of a supplier for the correct length cable? Keep the videos coming, I love them!
I agree with Ash West! DJI should send u units! U are 1 of 2 that I follow on U Tube! My Air 2 just arrived last week, flew it 2 times ROCK SOLID! So far its better than my MP2 .. Loving it! Great content!

You probably noticed already but theres a lil "V" shape to the pads/bumpers that secure the phone so they dont actually press down on the buttons themselves allowing you to center your phone on the controller perfectly. You can look from either side of the controller at the pone buttons along the top or bottom edge of the phone to see the air gap where the actual buttons are.
Just a heads up you may brick the batteries charging on the multi charger if possible use the single charger first, there was an issue with the multi charger and I do not know if it still is occurring 😄
The MA2 is without a doubt the best drone Dji or anyone else has come out with in recent time. It does everything and then some that they claim it will do.... Absolutely incredible drone.

Hey. You should have read the manual on how to charge them individually. Because of the hibernation mode. It can harm the batteries if you multicharge them at once for the first time. Just a note to all the new buyers. I always look at your videoes. Great stuff

I don't think anyone makes reviews as good as this guy.
Most aren't very in depth
With one exception he didn't show all the alternate stick settings . Mode 1 , mode 2 , custom , etc.

I've been waiting for that video too and the only real range test on UA-cam.
One small thing to correct you on Dustin, ADS-B does not alert other aircraft of the drones presence, it just alerts you to other aircrafts presence.

Lowering shutter speed is good when flying with the sun from the front shining through the propellers so you don't get the annoying flickering too.

11:20 ND filters are for taking video. It helps you control your motion blur for a cinematic effect.

Did you order this directly from Dji? I noticed the white letters on the battery instead of grey which means there's a difference in the battery.
