- Let's prep some potatoes while having a chat! Last year I lost 20 lbs but in November life got a busy, stressful then we got hit with another lock down with a full on stay-at-home order. My mind was not doing well at all. I talk about how I gained 20 lbs in the past 6 months and what I'm doing about it.

Most people I know have gained weight during this time. I'm sure you'll be fine.
I heard recently the average weight gain from Covid was 29 pounds, and the median weight gain was 15 pounds. This has been a challenge.

saw on another UA-cam channel that we should save those potato peels. Dry, onion powder, garlic powder (whatever). put in oven at 425 for 10-15 minutes (watch them) and they turn into yummy crisps

I did the same thing. Gained back some weight these past months. Trying to get back in the groove again.

I laugh at "Ellie Ellie" because in my house it's "Milo Milo!" He is our one year old black cat and his favorite thing is making things crash and teasing our 2yr old dog Buster.🤣
My sure fire recipe for covid wt gain disaster, have daily: 1lb pistachios, bag of chips (organic of course ;-/ ), bottle of wine. Some days change those pistachios out for campers mix. Fortunately those days are in the review mirror. I try not to get too hung up about things. Just take it a day at a time.
Oh damn yes that is a weight gain kit if I ever saw one! Wise words about not getting hung up on it, one day at a time - I'm with you!
So good to see you again! Love your new set-up/kitchen and how you are making it your own clean environment. This last year has been challenging for sure, but you are taking back control and that's what is important - you know what to do, how to do it and you will succeed once again! I'm in the same camp. And, doing exactly what you're doing in this video. I'm trying to do a 50/50 plate, but I notice I'm not as satisfied. So, I'm accepting my starch 'genes' and just including veg with my starch. The weight takes its time, but I'm okay with that.
I do admit I was pleasantly surprised when Ellie popped her head up. For some reason, I thought the counter would be too high. I guess she's bigger than I thought 🤷♀️😉😏

Everyone is suffering from the Pandemic Pouch! I gained some weight too but Ive really got back on track and its slowly coming back off...we will all get through this. Im sorry to hear whats going on in your area. My family live in Ontario too so they are going a bit crazy. I try and keep busy and really determined to get my body back! Potatoes and veggies rock! your dogs are so sweet. Thank gawd for our animals! Im still caring for my 20 rescued cats. They have helped me when the days were long!

I just loosely follow one of Hannah's recipes as inspo.. I put in a heaping spoon of tahini, 3 cups cooked chickpeas, juice of a whole lemon, garlic, then I add smoked paprika.. sometimes I put in some sun dried tomatoes.

I did the potato rest for 1 week and gained 5lbs :( maybe i ate too many potatoes ?? I ate about 15lb bag of potatoes in 7 days and loads of Veggies. Help. What did I do wrong. Feel super bloated 😫
There's so many variables that can make the scale go up, in this case I don't think it was fat. 15 lbs of potatoes in one week is not much at all, I eat about 30 lbs a week. What was your diet prior to the Potato Reset?

Hi Dianne! Yes I moved recently, it's wonderful! A little weight fluctuation is normal but yes it does suck sometimes, especially when it starts to feel uncomfortable, blech!
I would definitely be interested in doing your course on my own without the coaching maybe just pay for a lifetime access to it kind of like what I did with high carb Hannah and Kiki. They do an offer some video kind of brought general coach thing to all of us but I'd be interested just have the video library check in on the fun things on my own time frame...
