I just couldn't pass up the free pixel watch 2, combined with the trade in of my pixel 4xl I got the 512 model for about $900 usd
@@rossniem but I also have another friend who has the iPhone mini and said if they made a pixel mini he'd switch right away
@@PublicTour yeah they were giving really good trade in deals for preorders. My pixel watch doesn't arrive until November apparently. I've had my pixel 8 since the 13th. Working on another video for it now
My p5's battery is now 87% of its original capacity, should I replace it
I think that's fine, when you buy a phone from Amazon renewed or something like that they only guarantee 80% or more.
Sorry for my misinterpretation, i meant to replace the battery, not the phone
@@HungPham-ms6st yeah I'd just stick with it until it can't get you through the day.
I wish I kept mine just for the unlimited photo backup..f Google for that
Those were good times
hello there, I have been using Pixel 5. It's proximity sensor is misbehaving by any chance do you know any fix for it. thank you.
I’m not sure if a fix for it, I know some had that problem from new so it might be worth messaging google help.
I actually just fixed that issue on my pixel 5 a week ago, feels brand new again. Many pixels have a gap between the display and the body (for me it was around the front camera). Remove any dirt with a toothpick, heat the top of the phone with a hairdryer and finally press the display to the body, removing the gap and put it under a stash of heavy books for an hour or so. Sounds weird, but it works!
My favorite pixel 🥹
It looks like lots of people's favourite, can't believe how many views this video has.
Picking one up today for 200$ CAD, leaving Apple probably for good.
Welcome to team pixel 🎉
Stupid idea to buy it now for 240? Is it too old?
In the UK you can get a really good condition one for less than £200
I bought an unused one on eBay. Updated to android 14. Works perfectly.
Hello. Is it worth upgrading pixel 5 to 14 android or staying at 13? because I'm worried if version 14 has errors, because there will be no more security updates.
I normally update right away and then just complain about any problems 😂 But some people wait months to make sure they ironed out all the problems first.
@@rossniem There are two weeks left until support for updates on my Pixel 5 ends. If I can find any bugs, they won't have time to fix them. and already in November I will be left without support. so my question is open.
Go for the A14 update. Battery life is much better. Im also using the Pixel 5.
@@TeggyTeggyTeggy thanks bro. I'm installing it now. hello from Ukraine
@@tourer_v7009how is it going on new upgrade?
Pixel 5 gang
bought my mom pixel 5 for 200euro. she doesnt know that she got a gem for 200 hahah
She'll be #TeamPixel for life now
It is good to buy pixel 5 in 2023 ?
Yeah if you're okay with Android 14 being the last full update.
Pixel 5, and Pixel in general, is sooooooo boring. I was eyeing for the xperia 5 ii, same price, but just too big for me. Far better design though. Even looked at the Nokia 8 Sirocco, best looking phone ever made. Also too heavy sadly 😭 My Pixel 5 is now coming in about 2 hours, excelent state. Let's see if I like it, really hope so. Otherwise it will be the Sirocco. Thx for your enthusiastic vid, you pulled me over the line 🤕
Glad you enjoyed it! The pixel 5 isn't the best looking phone but it's a great all round
@@rossniem Thx, I just have it now, it's already taking 30 min downloading. Hope it's a one-off. It's very clean yeah, but nicely small an light. I like it already 👌
Favorite ❤
I wasn't able to find one for 150 pounds
This is still a killer phone but if you decide between this and the pixel 5a I would say 5a .
Yeah I'd love to try them out side by side.
Yes I just bought a 5a - it was a very tough choice between the 2, I don't like bigger phones but the insane battery life and the 3.5mm port were too hard to pass on!
@@YoItsM0 my thoughts exactly. I just want good battery life and the pixel 2 and up are still incredible cameras. How long does it last you and what do you use it for .the speakers on the 5 are not as good as my pixel 4a not by much but it's noticeable. The main reason is because the five has that under display speaker which makes it sound just a little bit muscled when it's spoken word for songs it's okay but you can't be blasting it
No as the pixel 5 has 8gb ram and 5a has 6gb
Pixel 5 is a very unreliable device.
