does google pixel 5a also provide unlimted storage or not?

I played it like in 3018 or something, and it was a blast! I think i had like a samsung s6 or s8 back then, and it was flawless. There were like 30 really good apps you could download, and i personally would spend hours on it until i had eye strain / the headset hurt. It was such an amazing experience. It is unfortunate how they ended it. It was truly ahead of its time.

Try to get Pixel 1 with 64gb to backup all videos and images at original quality. Yes, you can backup 4k, 8k videos from any device. Copy and paste to pixel 1, add your google account on pixel 1, done :)

I was hoping I could use the GoPro app to stream from a GoPro and then output onto the screen to view in the daydream. I don't think this is possible.

I completely agree with you. I too notice average people choosing the Pixel over other phones because of the long updates and the great cameras. Even if you don't care about AI at all (which is understandable), the Pixel are absolute solid choices

I bought the Pixel 2XL when it first came out and still using it as my daily phone in Oct 2024. Other than the occasional screen freeze every few weeks, this phone still works incredibly well. I wish I could use this phone forever. It's practically bulletproof. Never had a screen protector and have dropped it probably 50 times onto the concrete. Not even a scratch.

I was using my Pixel XL until about 2 years ago. It worked fine. I switched to Visible, and it wasn't compatible, so I finally upgraded to a newer Pixel.

Still rocking it, i boight a pixel 6a replacement battery and need to spot weld it to the bms (had it working but i got sick so put the project away) and ill upgrade the 4 xl battery to 4700mah, ehich in turn means i can keep using this phone while cranking all the features on

There is an alternative to the Pixel 5, the Pixel 5a 5G. With the same specifications and cheaper, the Pixel 5a 5G comes with a headphone jack, bigger battery, conventional top speaker (the top speaker on the Pixel 5 is behind the screen which makes the sound a little muffled due to the screen blocking it), and the larger screen. The only downside to the Pixel 5a 5G is that it only comes with 6GB of RAM, while the Pixel 5 comes with 8GB of RAM.

I was deciding whether to go ahead and pick up a Pixel 1 and whether it would be useful. This has been very helpful in deciding to pick it up because I don't need the latest tech, just tech that works for my budget.

Pixel 5, and Pixel in general, is sooooooo boring. I was eyeing for the xperia 5 ii, same price, but just too big for me. Far better design though. Even looked at the Nokia 8 Sirocco, best looking phone ever made. Also too heavy sadly 😭 My Pixel 5 is now coming in about 2 hours, excelent state. Let's see if I like it, really hope so. +1 for youtube video for one time; 1 - Unlimited photo storage 2 - nethunter; 3 - Photos, much better even todays average phones can take' 4 - videos for podcast; 5 - battery; 6 - you can use as Alfred Camera 7 - taking 360 photos; 8 - micro photo; 9 - privacy extra phone; 10 - Custom OS (linage OS or similar) + Gapps - it does have laser focus also.

@ross niem Google didn't need to invest on a more costlier Snapdragon processor because they were developing the #Tensor chip for the #Pixel6 Series. So they stuck the #Pixel5 with a 765G. I still use this device with #CustomROM I like the size as well as the cameras. I agree the speakers are not the best, but I use Bluetooth earphones for most of the part.

I have to disagree. The camera is just not good enough for 2024, not even for social media. The dynamic range is too lacking in photos.
