Think there's only one other way you could show what happens is one of those cross sectional model engines that are in some musuems.
My old man is nearly 80... But hearing Chris talking is like listening to him over the years. Some blokes just know shit and how it works... These people make the world go round. So much respect. 💓
Another reason the valves survive is, they go straight up and down in the head and are not mounted at an angle, that's what usually guarantees bent valves. Nice one guys 👍🏼
I've been a subscriber since the very early days when Chris would have absolutely nothing to do with being on camera! So much so that i wondered if he was fully onboard with the idea of UA-cam. Such a change (for the better) :-)
Chris why do you make any problem that you guy's come across look so easy to rectify. Bearing in mind this comes from some one who has very basic knowledge of how an engine works. It's your knowledge of anything mechanical look so easy and makes me love the videos that you and Rob do stay lucky and healthy looking forward to the next one 😊 as usual.

Well explained Chris, I wondered why no piston and valve damage, just shows how important it is change the water pump when changing the cam belt.
Chris, you would do very well as a tutor teaching young apprentices, nice, clear explanations and a simple drawing is literally all that is required.

Excellent video for me .. own a 2011 Peugeot Partner for micro camping which had under 20,000 miles on it. First job I had done on it was the cam belt and water pump due to its age and not the mileage done. Very useful to know about the cam/followers should anything ever happen to mine (here's hoping it doesn't). Thank you once again, you have my continued support on the channel.

Great video. I enjoyed the explanation from Chris about the cam. I must admit I was dubious about interference fit cam lobes, but I'm coming round to the idea, as they don't destroy the engine.

I'd really recommend get a Rode Wireless Go 2 and the SC15 Cable to connect the receiver into your iPhone. You'd both have a microphone pack that you could clip on your shirts and the sound will be so good. 👍

Hi all well what have I become I have worked all my life up to 66 years old now in my 70s. Lots of jobs all in engineering for a Apprentice to General manager and all the jobs in between. But now the high Point of my week is what are Rob and Chris up to 3 times a week. Keep it up your channel is Brilliant.

Chris can probably do the top off one of those engines in his sleep ! The only problem with this is if too many of the "opposition" watch these vlogs they will get wise to how straightforward a repair this can be and your supply of nice cheap vans could dry up lol
