That seems like a very reasonable markup considering a) the risk they took on buying a vehicle and b) the decades of expertise it takes to know what will bring it up to scratch! I don’t think Rob and Chris ever have to justify their prices. If they pick too high a price no one will buy it, but it seems like they’re beating off the offers. Good for them!

I love these vids, i don't know why, i think it's Rob's presentation and Chris's subtle humour, especially when it involves Rob's trainers.
I worked on cars in the early 70s, those were the days when owning a socket set made you a master, a ball joint splitter= grandmaster and a torque wrench? well, you really was the business. would consider doing a short vid on the tools you use, some of them look like dream come true. If you think its a good idea, then include everything a complete out of date fool would need know, such as price, what its called, it's limitations etc.
We all got a straight on look of Chris, and he is a nice looking fellah, but if i knew half of what he knows, i would die a happy man. Good luck guys, and thanks for the vids.

Brilliant as always! I feel like you two are a lot happier and a lot less stressed these days by not taking on the really heavily damaged and/or serious mechanical vehicles. The tricky but doable/fast turnaround ones are making you money and giving you some home time.

So another successful small van deal, seems to be a nice niche to be involved in. Both of your knowledge of what could be wrong with the engine turned out to be in the right direction, so repairable at a very reasonable price. It cleaned up nice, no rust, no other significant issues. You saved a vehicle from the scrap yard for some tradesman or shop who needs one and didn't much to spend. I can see why you are up to 250K followers, you offer entertaining, informative and well done videos without a lot of fuss and frills.

It is always nice to see something come back to life, and that headlight polish up was the cream on the deal. It is great when you get an easy turn round like that, it was a nice product. You saved it, to serve a new owner who can enjoy a nicely fettled vehicle for a great price.

Hey Rob,
I've had to polish the headlights on quite a few of my VW's over here in NZ, the sun's so strong here that they fog up really quickly. If you need something with a little more 'bite' in it to polish them I've had great success with SolvoAutosolve chrome polish! Just a little on a damp rag/rotary mop and they come up looking like new.
Last time one of my car's failed it's WOF (Warrant of Fitness - MOT to you guys) because of it I took the car home and was back at the WOF station within an hour and the tester couldn't believe how quick I was. When I told him how I did it he said he'd be telling other people with the same failure to do that in future. Much cheaper than the headlight restoration kits sold at motor parts stores.
Keep up the videos, love watching Chris work is magic, can't wait to see what you guys achieve with the Range Rover, looks like a lot of work on that one!

Love these van videos rob and Chris, excellent video. Tip for when the steering goes out of sync on these vans and the berlingos is to turn the steering wheel left to right on full lock 10 times to recalibrate it.
