The way Chris has come to life in front of the camera over the last few years is amazing. From someone who clearly wasn't comfortable being filmed, to a confident narrator. The change has really bought the chanel to life and allowed Chris to really showcase his talents.
Keep up the good work guys, love the channel.
@@paulperratt3748 spot on paul
Really another example showing the value of the experience, which Chris contains.
Surprising that no one else thought to check the engine earth strap Especially with bad charging and flickering lights
Good evening guys 👍🏻 Love how you offered the guy his car back 😊 Chris is worth a million dollars 💵 Rob. You’re both are so honest and love that you’re never greedy when selling 👍🏻 Hope you get better soon Rob & and don’t pass it on to Chris 🤧
"Car is a smacker" Rob made me laugh 😃 so much.
Ashamed to say I’ve been catching up on a few weeks worth of episodes last few days due to a prolonged hospital stay with no Wi-Fi 😞. Great way to recuperate. ❤
Get well soon 👍
Get well soon Rob. Man flu is worse than childbirth. 😂
Worse than the plague, diphtheria, chicken pox and mumps all together
School boy error by previous mechanics.
Fixed by the master 👍
Top work as always.
Great attention to detail as always from you guys. A nice bit of detective work from both of you with Chris finding the earth issue and Rob discovering the driving issues.
Hope you feel better soon Rob….its a complete inconvenience having a cold.
Great job as always guys.
The thing i love about you guys is that as long as you make abit of profit you’re happy. Unlike some who buy cheap, fix cheap and stick the price at max. Good job lads.
I don't want to knock anybody's work but if more than one garage looks at a car then something can be overlooked. Chris is methodical in his examination so that paid off in this case. A new wheel bearing and check the windows are working and she will be good to go to a new home. Well done to both of you for cracking on and getting it done in one video. I hope your cold is soon gone Rob and you are back to normal. 👍👍
Small profit quick return very nice Rob and Chris beautiful 😅😊
Panel gaps from front wing to panel look a bit iffy.😁. Rob, “ gilet”? It’s a body warmer for us Northerners.🤭
Its still summer to us northerners we've only had a dusting of drizzle 😂
The dead giveaway to me was when headlights were mentioned, I straightaway though, bad earth. if you have a bad earth, they can flicker, and you lose everything in second,s or it will find another way to earth, often with less than desirable side effects, such as fried electronics, burnt wares,
You are true gentlemen - keep it up please, because it is so much needed in these times. Greetings from Denmark
"See what the craic is" Chris definitely has a bit of Irish in him!
@@Akonw88 craic is also used heavily in the north east of England.
Green terminals on a car that new, there's an open circuit somewhere
Great result just shows yous aren't afraid to take a gamble engine sounds sweet it'll be a another nice car for someone
A little knowledge as they say, great clip guys
My, that was quick!! I hope you are over your cold very soon, Rob.
The electric windows could need "normalisation". My Toyota needs it if you change the battery. You just put them all the way up and down with either the main switches or each individual door, I forget which.
The windows wasn’t going up or down the nearside motor was stuck 👍
@@sruk Glad it's sorted, just mentioned it as ripping the door cards off etc then someone says "Have you tried..." would be just my luck 😆 get well soon
Has Rob got a cold? He didn’t mention it. 😜
I do love a one in, one out video. great work. tidy car. tidy profit. fair play to you lads for making a living but not making a killing.
£8950! [Well you've got to pay for all those boxes of Kleenex tissues!]
Brilliant video as always!! Just shows what knowledge and expertise Chris has.
Hope you feel better soon Rob.
Take care
Poor Chris, you should ring a bell Rob and say unclean uncleans lol, hope your cold gets better soon .
That's a very nice car you both done great hope you're cold is better soon Phil
Get better soon, Rob. Whisky is great for a cold. It won't cure it but it makes you forget you've got it! Great video again but I'm left wondering about the quality of Hyundai. A wheel bearing gone at such a low mileage? Keep up the good work.
It is surprisingly easy to miss the obvious when looking for faults. A few years ago a mate of mine worked for a large brewery in west London. They had a two week old lorry recovered back to the yard. They just happened to have the Fleet Engineer on site with some other high flying engineers, they all went out to view the vehicle and find the fault. The batteries were flat. After a little while they came trotting back into the workshop unable to find the fault. The foreman asked my mate to pop out and look it over. A few minutes passed and Jim came back into the workshop and shouted to the foreman, "order a couple of fan belts for that will ya"! The vehicle must've run over something on the road, which ran round the crank pulley and ripped them off. There was a bit of mumbling from the engineers and they then walked off. None of them had spotted the obvious lol.
Well, that was an easy 10mil job. Wish they were all that simple. Nice one for the next owner.
Well done guys great job and a quick turn around
Its one of them " Hi-un-die Sir-cona " good old Rob hahhaha
Always makes me happy when ye take a gamble and it goes well for ye,,👏👏
chris is a genius.
Result ! Well done lads. Hope you feel better soon Rob 😷
lovely little car that, well done on finding that fault
Wheel bearing at 16k miles is a bit odd for a Hyundai .
Get better soon Rob 🤒 🤧
Now that's an easy one 🎉.
Here in Portugal that is called Kauai because Kona is slang to Vagina here 😂😂😂😂
👍😂😂😂😂
A bit like Volva..
Hope your end of summer cold clears-up quickly, Rob. Nice work by Chris to diagnose the loose earth strap, car looked so much better after the valet - always buff the polish off!! 😇
hello rob and chris nice car ive got one them too in black kona
Nice one lads another quick flip and a bargain ,crack on !!!
Was getting withdrawals from the lack of content lads glad your both back in action
Hope u feel better too felt under the weather for a good few months myself
Thinkcar pro dongles are a great bit of kit especially with renault can program the lot decent tool i bought
Those green earths must be clean as a whistle you don’t need any high resistance connections
A star washer or spring washer might cure the earth strap problem 👍well done guys! Again.
Wonder if someone bumped a kerb, did the wheel bearing and bodged the wheel ballencing 😊
missed you guys , from south africa
Get well soon Rob thanks for another good video
Great little motor, top video guys 👍👍
Well Rob a sniffling bargain, not to be sniffed at! 🤧. What a lovely colour blue...Thanks guys👍
You two just get better. Well done lads.
Brilliant video Rob and Chris 👍
I had a very similar fault on a car years ago. Someone had changed the head gasket on it, unclipped the wiring loom to gain access. The loom was half fastened back in place. When driving over rough road or traffic calming, the engine idle speed would leap up !. It took me about five months to find the fault, because it was so intermittent. The wiring loom moving about in some circumstances caused havoc !. Three cable ties later and good fastenings solved it. 🎉
I did enjoy this boys burnt my pizza that the trouble with your channel I love it.
Well done lads,a nice little earner 🇮🇪 🇮🇪
Nice little earner lads well deserved 🚙👍👍
nice little earner boys
ALWAYS ALWAYS on an intermittent fault check the earth strap, I know from experience.
You need ‘a 2nd class return to nottingham’ mate
I'm old enough to remember that advert lol Tuuunesa
TUUUNES!
Fair play to you Guys, Electrical problems drove me up the Walls. A Few hot Whiskeys Rob might help. Thumbs up.
Rob this is a bit awkward ? How is it going to workout with you having a cold but both you and Chris working , living together like Morecambe & Wise lol 😂😂😂
Why on earth would you think I live with Chris myself and Claire have our own home
@@sruk it was a joke Rob , Ofc I know you don’t live together , Morecambe & Wise never lived together
Rob gets so chopsy on the replies to comments. Seems a nice guy on the videos and then chopsy on the keyboard. Strange guy I think.
@@DoubleG79234I know what you mean. A bit sharp, sometimes.
@@gdfggggg I think he has a wheel bearing gone too. He’s also a bit whiny
Try some contact spray on the ecu plugs etc
Nice work lads
Once again you are straight down the line 👍👍👍👍
Nice car excellent price good profit say no more 👍
Look's like you've dodged the bullet lads, nice quick turn over heading your way 😁
What's a cracking looking car I love the colour blue on that Hyundai 👍
poor earth is all it takes somedays. but can be hard to trace if there are multiple points on the car to earth it
It’s a body warmer😂
Brilliant video
Would definitely buy a motor of you guys.
Thats going to make a cracking car for its next owner
You guys got link/suggestion for a plug in reader for most general servicing duties, diagnostics on modern cars you use ??
Best way to check issues like this is to take it for a spin on a cobbled road
Great job guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇬🇧
Great video Chris and Rob winner Winner Chicken dinner hope you get better soon
Another quality job ..well done lads 👍👍
Excellent vlog chaps really pleased you found the fault kind regards to you both and take care Mark from Billericay 👍
Well done lads nice little fix that.
I do like the colour of this one
Some very stupid merchants ,give too the best top boys and you get results you are the best guys and very fair you under estimate your price you are to nice to be in business .sorry I love you guys ❤
Lovely little motor for someone
Great video, as always, boys. Cheers 🍻
What do I think ? ..I think Chris is a mechanical Genious what a clever unasuming nice bloke
There’s a lot of plastic around the wheels , seems to be the norm these days 😢
Well done gentlemen.
Easy money on that one boys🤟
Not sponsored by Lemsip 😰😅
I've never met a car mechanic who wears white trainers to work😂
He's not a mechanic he just gibbering on all the time like Ed China was the brains Mike was just a mouth 😅
He’s very fashion conscious. Needs to always look his best. 🦛💨💨
Unless it's hit a pothole really hard, it's hard to imagine that a wheel bearing has failed. Those three cylinder engines can sound a bit "buzzy"...if you're not used to driving a three banger, you could mistake the engine note for something else 😅.
That was a simple fix, can't believe it wasn't checked before to be honest guys
BOOM 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Well Rob, toddling of on a jolly and bringing back bugs.Tut,Tut. Betcha Chris has it next week. Lovely car the Hundai. A wee change from the range Rovers. Later.😂
Bit of rubbernecking on a Jolly, is a must.
Loved the video guys
As usual you leave a bit in the car for the next guy well done could have been a nightmare but turned out nice. Whoever looked at it before didn’t even check the basics looks like ? 😊
Nice one
Rob. Stop taking please 😂
Err no 👍
Definitely a mismatch spray job down the driver’s side
No it isn’t
Eat some raw garlic Rob 👌’ works for me ‘ and I’m quite a bit older than you
Rob I think you got that cold / co-vid on the flight back 🤔 I was sat two rows behind you and my wife has Covid now 🥺
What flight was I on ?
Will you still need to check for parasitic draw? Was the battery old?
