Hey Kryzzp, to answer your question about 4K panel and low settings, I personally prefer 2560x1440p 240Hz on my main panel and my other panel is 4K 144Hz, One is for competitive and one for Campaigns and high visuals. Occasionally though, on a game such as Fortnite, the game is so easy to run and is so CPU bound even on the 7800X3D that I prefer to play on my 4K 144Hz panel for the better visuals with no DLSS and get around 230-240 fps. I do plan on getting a 4K 240Hz OLED in the near future though.
The VRAM amount doesn´t matter as much as you think! It´s a driver optimization thing.. You can look it up if you don´t belive me lol. AMD Cards tend to use more VRAM in Games than NVIDIA Cards. So the whole "Future Proofing" with VRAM is BS@@spg3331

Those stutters in performance mode will go away if you just put up with it but currently i have bugged and its way worse but waiting for new hardware to come out

I prefer more fps than visual quality. With that being said I occasionally play on epic with nanite off on my 4090 1080p and still get 240ish and enjoy the eye candy but I wish we could get 1080p OLED 23 inch monitor.

I got a 4070 Ti Super the other day and kept wondering why i was stuttering so much but i found on reddit that playing on Dx12 you have to play 5-6 matches for all the shaders to load after changing settings and the stuttering should stop.. if that is true thats super annoying but i may have to try it out lol
oh and bro when u use normal epic settings with out ray tracing just use the high shadows, its like a 10 to 15 fps increase and its more consistent, high and epic shadows look the same nd its more demanding for no reason and nanite to too cus on my 4070ti i js use 4k all max epic settings with high shadows and it dont drop from 60
Very informative video bro. I have a 4070 super paired with i7 9700k and I'm trying to play on high/Nanite off, but I'm not getting nearly enough frames as the video. Is the issue my cpu being a bottleneck? it feels like it because I have 80-90 cpu usage while my gpu is lower.
i have similar spec but in dx 12 and 11 stutters like hell sometimes going up to 20 fps and again back to 100s very frequently making it unplayable but very playable in performance mode 300+ fps
So I have a 4070ti and a intel 13700kf with 32 gbs of 5600mhz ram and I underperform this rig at 1440p high and 1440p low settings, is that to be expected because my cpu is slower than the 7950x3d? I just didn't think that the cpu would bottleneck the gpu that much.
Man 1% lows on performance mode is so bad, but my input delay feels so much better on performance mode as well. 5600x RTX 3060 3200MHz CL16, overclocked to 3600MHz CL18 for that nice little 200MHz more on the infinity fabric
cod likes threads its better to have more cpu than you need than to wish you had more due to a pegged cpu thats pouring out poor frame timings creating stutter etc

What mobo do you have? You should be able to Update your bios, and then the easy thing to do pick something like a ryzen 5600x3d/ 5700x3d/5800x3d, or even a 5600x/5800x, depending on budget/price and availability! I would try and get a x3d, you should see a very good gaming performance uplift.

the issue with that card, is when you have to use FRS, because with Nvidia, you will get more fps because DLSS is better
Dlss 2 ,Dlss 3.0,Dlss 3.5 , FSR 2, FSR 3, Dlaa, Dldsr, Nvenc, stable drivers, Power efficiency , RT capable, reflex.
Why don't you use DLAA or TSR at native res for sharper image?

Input lag is reduced because of lower GPU usage. Try locking the FPS or use Nvidia reflex / boost. it has the same effect 👍
